I.. decided to take a trip down! They say its 1 week delivery time and extra warehousing for each week is 100!!! we did saw one.. that we sort of like.. *very lukewarm feel* rofl! the price was really cheap.. $650 for a 2.5 seater!!!

lol.. its really at tuas le.. just a bit before the customs only. i am tempted to go.. but not sure if it will be worth it. they don't do warehousing for the stock.. and has to be delivered within a certain time frame..

FINALLY some good news that we can share.. we managed to view the house 2nd time. @#$#%$@%@$@! seems like there will be more things to be done.. all the doors + door frames have to be replaced.. kitchen wall has to be hacked to create illusion of space.. and maid's room door have to be relocated to make way for the altar area. anyone into retro theme??? :P AND the sellers will be moving out a wee bit before the 2nd appointment! YAY~ the sort of sad news is we have to wait till 5th for more pics again.

:thumbs up: white oak is actually more hardy than teak. its RARE to see ppl install oak is bcoz its relatively unknown and not alot of ppl doesn't understand the properties of wood flooring. i really like the white oak flooring but too bad i am not replacing my bedroom flooring. so no chance to explore other alternatives other than re-polishing the parquet..

this is very common in this neighbourhood... a lot of houses kena pop up.. so re-doing is the best way to go.
