  2. Nah no problem =) Abahq, a link to her hacked walls. http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=44623&view=findpost&p=683900
  3. lol it was just a idea plug from no where to give you an example.
  4. It's the ringer that is faulty. Need to go Sim Lim Tower to find one. Yup, we do use it =)
  5. Hi Abahq, nope i hack partial. I believe i cant hack the other half of the way as stated in the floorplan. Also it's also hacked in the middle half, retaining the below half of the wall intact. But still it doesn't make any sense to hack a concrete brick wall and build a false wall. Just to check, False wall is those made out of wood or he making another half concrete brick wall?? Maybe he smoking ya but ask him to explain why need to hack all. I also interested to know why. The wall between my MBR and other room was hacked and built with those hollow bricks or something which i can't recall the actual name. There are restriction/regulation by hdb for building walls too, cannot be too heavy or thick or something.
  6. Lol i thought should be PS or P&S. There is another place with alot of Fan. Paya Ubi ave 3 but i cant remember the distributers name.
  7. I can't recall the aircon guide I read about last time as all my 'favorites' are gone due to my old hdd crashing on my new system.. How about dining by the window and sofa by the bomb shelter?? Play around with the furniture and swap it around.
  8. Eh, You're most welcome! But I dunno why you thank me for??
  9. Thanks, I know how it feels... Do more research online and magazines helps alot. Check out these few: Lookbook Home and Decor Decorations Interiors Ideas Solutions Cubes.
  10. Hi hi, there was this bench we were deciding to get but due to limited space we can't.. It's from Grafunkt and it has a rack at the bottom for the shoes too! I think its 1.2m long.
  11. lol no problem, You got terrific memory! =)
  12. Hi Shamgar, Thank you very much. Project as in your home and not your business right?? I should start to ask Douglas for referral fee! I heard alot of ppl enquire but nvr sign with him due to price but they like him. He did show me one of his client's place very nice! Are you the one with the industrial style? I can't say he is the best cause it's our first time but definitely we would love to work with him provided his prices are average(he still needs to earn). I can say he is very responsible kind of person and won't push the blame away or will try to resolve it something like that. Paying for such service is worth it and I have lesser headache.
  13. lol no problem =) Copied from their brochure The Acqua offers fluid lines and quiet axial rotation. The motor heads can be infinitely positioned in 180-degree arcs for optimum air movement; the greater the angles of the motors to the horizontal support rods (up or down), the faster the axial rotation. A slow, controlled axial rotation is achieved by both motor head position and fan blade speed. Matthews rotational fans circulate heat and air-conditioning more efficiently than traditional paddle fans." We keep it @ medium speed and it still able to rock my mirror, I placed a long piece of foam to prevent it from banging the wall. Yes it pretty quiet too at. Sorry, may I know what is PP?
  14. Hi A1sh1teru, well at least your living room will be longer right since the bomb shelter is beside the toilet if I've guessed right. The 24k BTU model which cost $50-$100 more than 21k/22k(can't really recall). I like this as it is able to control the vertical vanes(horizontal air movement) on top of the usual horizontal vanes. As for the kitchen, it's cooler but not like cold cold sitting in front of the aircon. We need to close off the rooms' door and especially the service yard door while the window panes in the kitchen are left ajar. I believe it would be better if the aircon is position in the middle of my brick wall blowing towards the walkway / dining area but laying the trunking would be too far and dunno what the air con installer smoke me... Do take note that the drainage pipes must be laid in a sloping manner within the trunking towards the end of the pipe(toilet drain or etc).
  15. My missy got it online. I know there are some shops selling it, Clementi mall level 1 or 2 got this shop selling alot of homey stuffs, Ion level 3 selling more upscale stuffs. The sad thing is the speaker is faulty and I need to find one to replace it.

  20. Nah, no la ~~' We feel that the SMEG fridge is more suitable for one - two pax and we would consider it if situations allows, also need to squeeze the budget abit. Got that kind of budget doesn't mean got taste (like your neighbour)but usually that kind of budget more or less swee swee de. At least he got very good taste and not forgetting you of course =) Well taste is individual too, one man's meat is another man's poison.

  22. Hi Adidaem I like how you did your dish rack by having a clean line without the drop down like mine =S. A longer (width) with 2 different height of racks. Also wanna ask you what is that hole in the ceiling for(top left corner)?
  23. Hi hi! Nah can't compare to yours =) I like how you did your dish rack by having a clean line without the drop down like mine =S. A longer (width) with 2 different height of racks. I like Lieblingsg’s place too and that SMEG fridge is gorgeous but cramp in storage space. I have not check out your blog for quite some time liao ~~' Thanks for sharing =)
  24. Hi Wally168, thank you for taking time to do so I'm not using any LED for downlights(less the kitchen). So I can't really give first hand comment on that. I do know that LED brightness and colour can't compare to Halogen but halogen bulbs are power leeches. Deal Extreme sells alot of LED bulbs I didn't change the electrical plug for the Swiss Citiz edition, I got this adapter, must get with the one with the 2 hole at the mid bottom of the adapter plug.
