Hi, Can pm where to get the floor trap and price? Went around looking for something similar, but no luck... ID had pulled out the tilers, hopefully they can still come and retify and refit this in.

The MBR Puzzle. The dimension of the MBR is approximately 12+ft (the length of the windows) by 9ft (from toilet wall to the window). Within this space, my fiance and I are trying to fit in the following: - Platform bed for a king-size mattress w/ full height cushion headrest - Wardrobe of 5-6 feet - 32" TV - A small dresser top somewhere - Preferably not to block off too much of the existing window panels. So far, we have yet to come up with a layout that we are comfortable with... sigh. Any ideas? Anyone? We did managed to come up with something earlier based on a queen-size bed, but recently realised that only a king will do for our needs.

Hi all, As this is our very first reno project. Hoping to gather suggestions/feedbacks from forumers here, before we finalised our renovation plans. We are trying to achieve a Modern Baroque theme. To start off, here is the floor plan of our 3+1: In particular, we are having quite a headache in deciding on the MBR layout. As it just seem to be a feet or so short, to fit in what we needed. Will elaborate on this further on another post.

Anyone with current ongoing project with Colors? Will really like to get more feedbacks on their timeliness and quality of deliveries.

Our Reno is planned to start mid 2012. This is the reason why we are okay when the 1st draft was way off our expectation and also agree to wait 3-4 weeks for revised 3D. Assuming they keep to their words this time, we waited for ard 7 weeks, I think we are pretty reasonable and patient till now. We really lost faith in them meeting timeline now and won't be surprise if they call us saying there will be delay due to polling and PH....

For our case, we were told no 3Ds for toilet as well though we are redoing both toilets. We requested for drawings of the vanity at least to be shown to us, but that's the least of our worries now. Not happy with the initial draft 3D back in late Jun. After meeting up and once again going through in details (with our own research pictures) to communicate what we are looking for. Colors say will get back to us a month later. Now into mid Aug. After asking them on the status, told us will be ready in late Aug. My Fiancee is extrememly worried with this. Our project though only starting nxt year, have to be finish on time as its part of our wedding plan. And Colors is showing sign of not meeting up with promised dates... or at least till now, don't seems to be taking our project seriously enough.

ID told us cannot. But i saw from pic of other unit that shifted it. Need to go nudge ID again sometime later, WTB really find it an eyesore at the current location. sigh.

Wierd, they never quote a lump sum on electrical for me, just put it as "KIV", I was assuming they will charge based on the number of points later on. Guess I should check with Willy on the next meetup. Was informed that our revised 3Ds will be delayed due to their office renovation. Which is fine for me, since my renovation start date is not anytime soon yet, i rather Leslie take the time to do up a proper one then to rush through the drawings. Wont be sharing the 1st draft, as it did not really cover what we were looking for and still looks quite raw.

Ah the full height headboard... my fiancee was insisting to have one in the MBR and Colors went sourcing suppliers for it. It is lower than the ~$2k that other IDs quoted us, so we are pretty pleased by the pricing actually. Yet to see sample of it though, but had given Leslie and Willy a picture of what we are looking for. Hope the end-product will be close to it.

I see Jcase's place 3D pics there. And the initial proposed 3D Leslie did for my place as well, but we didnt go ahead with them.

Thanks JCase for letting us drop by today. Your home looks very different after the reno. Nice tilings for both kitchen and bathrooms. Really unique layout, almost felt like 2 separate units merged into one. Harley, sorry didnt catch your msg here. Was busy with work and going through the 1st draft 3D with my fiance. More changes made to some of the key areas, so still pretty much work-in-progress. But at least I believe Leslie is clear of what we are looking for in the design which is very important to us.

Thats great, thanks. Maybe I ask Willy to help arrange a short visit just just before HO, don't really want to intrude your moving in. harleybrian, our project starts only next year. I guess its already quite unusual??? Initially, there were miscommunication on our start date and the team was about to kick off their preliminary works.

Signed up with Colors recently, after meeting around 7-8 firms over a couple of months. Now waiting for 3Ds which should be ready by end of the week. Willy is our liason and Jeremy will handle the site once the project kick-off. Not anytime soon though as the place is tenanted for now, so won't be able to comment on actual works until much later. Pretty satisfied thus far. - Comfortable with Leslie and his staff. Nice chaps, responsive and on-the-balls. - Price relative to the other firms we spoke to (which are mainly recommended from Renotalk) is reasonable (and properly itemised). When queried on some of items, they are open in explaning why. This is very much appreciated, as we know what we are actually paying for and can make a decision from there whether to exclude or not. Would have being nice if they give a better final discount though... but all is still good. - Site visit to one of the completed project by my fiancee. Heard from her that the owner was full of praises. Hopefully Leslie can work his magic on the design and win my fiancee over. We are rather fussy people haha. Will love to see an actual condo project if any of their other client allows, since i miss the site visit that day. Sigh...
