the reason its a promo becos its a limited edition model to commemorate 10 yrs of the invention of the honeycomb drum. They only have a limited around 200 odd sets for the sg market, as in the case of the previous homecare promotions last yr! Miele has a fixed price policy, which is no discount anywhere. But this is too attractive an offer because a regular miele washer n dryer cost $3k individually.And the specs r pretty gd too, for they have a few new advances that were previously not in the older models, like the autoclean detergent dispenser drawer that has a special coating on the dispenser drawer that dun allow powder detergent to clog, and also an improved automatic plus program catered for mixed laundry. There is a soaking feature for up to 2 hrs and a 20min express wash. And considering both washer and dryer r honeycomb, n with a bigger 7kg drum! Its a steal i will say! Tangs have a 6% rebate now, but dont offer extended warranty. Only best denki and harvey norman offer extended warranty. For miele lovers who attest to their 20 yr build quality, will prefer tangs for the rebates.Those who have taka credit cards may buy from taka best denki to get their 6% rebates too! Never buy at their showroom, for they dun have any cards rebates or extended warranties. For new owners whos worried bout the servicing may get extended warranties from best/harvey! happy shopping!

if ur clothes do shrink its due to a different or wrong settings, eg wool drying in cotton cycle due to higher temp or ur dryer does not have a sensor technology. However most dryers have sensing technology nowadays so shld not have too much problem. For a washer cum dryer though, do take note of 2 things. They need longer time to dry as the condensing effect takes a longer time , and also they dun have a fluff filter, as compared to a separate dryer, so some fluff dun trap that well.

Im a new user and planning to renovate my kitchen. I loved my eurocave wine fridge but i cant bring them back from australia where ive lived. Anybody knows which shops in singapore carry this brand? And i cant do without my miele washer n dryer, which served me well for many yrs. But i cant seem to find these bramds at alot of electrical stores in sg. Anybody have any idea where is the best place to buy these items?
