  1. Hi Meilin, if you frequently need ice cubes to go with ur drinks, I would think a top freezer is more appropriate...one drawback of having a bottom freezer is the need to squat or bend each time u fill up the ice trays with water or take the ice cubes fr freezer.
  2. Hi all, like to find out which is more water resistant? Matt or gloss finishing? Also, do you experience the initial 'cracking sounds' at night when u switch on ur aircon? Tiler said it's normal initially - I don't feel gd.
  3. Hi all, I was previously looking for nice headboard designs too and came across exactly the same one posted here. My opinion is..it's really very nice but it may be outdated in no time? So being conservative, I went for a safer bet. It looks boring and uninteresting tho. Here it is... Pardon for the darkness cos I only switched on two led downlights in this pic.
  4. Hi Defelio, very nice 3D pics you have here! I like the colours and your choice of furniture - very contemporary and artistic. I see that your master bedrm has a study table and chair at the end of the bed. You might like to view other jadespringers' houses first before proceeding to have a table there? A table is fine but coupled with the executive chair, there is hardly space for walking...for your consideration only. Looking forward to more of your updates on reno! Fr your fellow jadespringer~
  5. Hi Chrissy, the aircon trunking certainly can be hidden in the boxed up area in the toilet. You may like to check with your ID on this again? Fr your fellow jadespringer
  6. Dear sooriuni, this is impossible. The highest I heard was $800 and the lowest $200. Even with all the hacking etc, it should not exceed $800.
  7. Hi, I've engaged this firm as per recommendation by my friend. Yes, they're ex and charge you more than other firms but it depends on how you look at it. I go for designs and their designs are really different from many other IDs and contractors - more modern to me. Some people don't think so though...and have vastly different taste. Moreover my ID's service so far is very gd, very accommodating to our needs and wants...tries all ways to make things happen for us while paying attention to both function and aesthetics appeal of the house. It's not one ID one should go for if your aim is to get things cheap and gd. This is one that is ex and gd. Again, 'gd' depends on your definition. Now I'm in the midst of reno and everything is timely and done nicely. Hope they continue to do the job well and make my investment worthwhile.
  8. Reno works just started! :))
