Im not sure if it's too early but we havent even finalised our contractor and consequently the design and yet we went to the Robinson's private sale today and bought bedsheets (two sets), quilt, towels and even a pair of scanpan scissors (blue color) and a scanpan knife (red color)! Haha..

Im not too keen on the made in China ranges. Hoping to find genuine made in germany stuff here, i hope.

Hahaha. I saw this exact table as well and it caught my eye. However my concern is that the glass top isn't attaches to the legs so it can be quite easily toppled over, notwithstanding it's rather heavy.

Today was a full half day of searching for sanitary fittings and lights. We shortlisted some Grohe items. w00t! Even before our layout plan, final look of the house is confirmed, we already bought some lights. Wahaha.

Someone also did this 3D mockup of our living room. I found that this made the living room too small and it felt too dark.

I took the liberty of asking my friend to draw up a layout plan for me. I am actually quite happy with this. Except for some minor tweaks, i think i might just go with this design man.

hi everyone, i just want to give everyone an update on the situation. As in my previous post, our first quote by the contractor was way way out of the park and we have embarked on another search for contractors. The first contractor was a family contact whom we had assumed (wrongly) would give us a good deal. In any case, i have contacted and met at least 6 contractors in the last two weeks. Hopefully one of them will turn out to be the One.
