  1. For those who're still looking for plumber, I just tried the HDB Plumbers. I'll feedback later.
  2. Hi, Anyone could share some good CARPENTER (don't think I need a contractor for this one job) to replace my kitchen sink? I've called 1 contractor but the price is rather steep; so I'd like to have another quotation. thanks.
  3. I'm not exactly following your suggestion, but thanks. Actually there is another alternative. I just realize it after getting feedback here that it's risky to drill at the bottom of the glass panel. The path gets longer and the pipe is exposed more (it's uglier) to the naked eyes. I need some contractor to quote me a reasonable price for this - then I believe he/she could assess it better than my drawing ..
  4. One contractor that saw this few years back (when the leak was so small) is the one propose to drill into the based of that glass wall. He believes the issue is on the ceramic that will be cracked and I don't have the original one to replace them. And this is water pipe.. the pipe leads into my water heater and then to shower head.
  5. anybody? If you're a contractor reading this - could you pm me for more questions if not quote me the work needs to be done? thanks.
  6. you could be right. but the drawing is not too scale and i don't know how "deep" the glass is inside the base. Moreover the water pipe is pretty small. Nonetheless, if contractor says can't, then i'll go the vertical route. It's not too pretty but it could work. Otherwise, hack the fake wall .... I guess what I need now is some good plumber/contractor to do this.
  7. Hi, Need recommendation on good plumber to bypass a leak water pipes. The leak is concealed inside a wall inside my toilet. Instead of hacking the toilet wall, I want to bypass the leaked part and create new route. Also, a small job to install a new water heater in the 2nd toilet. Can anyone recommend a good plumber for this? Click here for screen shot of the job that needs to be done.
  8. Hi, I've a new 16gb Iphone 5 (black) for sale. The phone is in a sealed box and not even activated yet./ Please bring a nano SIM card if you're interested with this phone, so you can activate it on the spot. Selling it at an attractive price of $880. Everything in box is yours (for example: charger, earpiece). PM me if interested. Edit: Price's revised lower. If want to trade it with camera lenses, i'm interested.. or if you want to trade with your Galaxy S3, can consider (but top up from you require)
  9. If you're renting the whole unit, then you must have the following 1. Living room - at least a sofa. 2. Bedrooms - all with matress and frame and simple wardrobe. If you don't have air-cons, then fans is a must. 3. Toilets - water heater and shower utilities 4. kitchen - cooking stuffs (stove, and places to store your utentils) 5. washing machine 6. all lights must be there also Btw, sorry to burst your bubble. But i do not think you can rent out the whole unit since you just recently purchase it.
  10. The paint is washable and it still has a little bit of odour. It definitely less odour. You can sleep in your room after air it for one day to 2 days. My mother in laws has sensitive nose to this; she normally can't step into a room that's painted for less than 3 weeks. In case of my home, she doesn't know that it's painted all (although actually it just been paitned 1 week back).
  11. There is this shop in IMM that sell windows.. The shop name is something like "..... grille", I'm sorry that I couldn't recall it. However, the seller explained that thicker windows reduce the noise and a good insulation around the edges do the same. His window is not supposed to reduce noise level, it suppose to reduce the heat or the cold from coming into the house. But when he install the windows on Apt next to Expressway, the clients told him that the noise is greatly reduced. The price is rather steep - for a normal window, he probably charge between 300 to 400 (material and installation).
  12. Hello Alice916, The inverter shouldn't save much $$$ if you don't run the Air/con for more than 8 hours on the daily basis. It doesn't really save that much for a normal home usage. Just stick with your non-inverter and choose the one with the higher energy star.
  13. Totally agree to everyone here. It's a scam. Stay away and don't even try to send them emails. They can collect ur email address and then put it in a CD and sell it to people who'd like to spam others...
