Minimalist LED Clock I like this white led clock from Kibardindesign..clean and white..fits into my theme perfectly! except for the price...

It's local the quality is better than those shipped from China..at least when I compared with the batch my friend bought via dealextreme.com. The copper joints are better constructed and not so prone to accidental breakage when you are laying them. Just need to pay abit more. PMed you the contact. good luck!

Thanks the lights can be dimmed too which really helps to create the right ambience. I have PMed you the contact, good luck! One of the things to the minimalist theme is to have as little things as possible so it's we try to have multi functional stuff and lots a storage to hide things away.

One way we did for the living room is to inject the use of ambientic mood lighting or soft indirect lights to try and create different mood ambience. Combination of minimalism and mood lighting. Minimalist Black TV on White Minimalist Feature Wall Added the 2 side stools with storage at the side of the sofa to double as side tables. Snacks and accessories like tissue papers can be kept in them. They can also double up as stools for my dining table when there are many guests. I especially love the full black of the TV siting on the white of the wall, complemented by the black console in the middle. Blue minimalist mood lighting The square ceiling cove lights forms a symbiotic balance with the square feature wall lights to illuminate the room in a cool blue hue. Hi! Have sent you a PM. Good luck in comparing the reno quotations. It was not that straightforward due to the differing level of details and organisation of items written in the quote by different companies. Do make sure you are making an apple-to-apple comparison for the price to make sense and the best way to do this is to engage them directly and get them to quote you for the exact specifications requirements you need e.g. if you are looking for AC4 quality laminate flooring or cost pfr or area for carpentry and types of laminates etc. Good luck!

haha they're able to deliver what they promised, I like them. I got mine from the IFC at Sungei Kadut though, after browsing through the various furniture shops there. Am really glad I managed to avoid some of those shops that have a bad reputation online, though some of their designs are not bad.

yeah..the time range given was between 10pm-4am due to the festive period crunch. I'm not sure whether they have night delivery on normal days, but they definitely did come at 2am and also gave me a call about an hour before to make sure I'm still available to open the door for them. I think overall the experience of purchasing at Star Living is a good one for me. Besides the timely delivery as promised, I also like the fact that they are quite transparent about their prices as well. Been to so many furniture shops but they are one of the few that actually display the prices of their furniture prominently, and there's a formula for them to adhere to in calculating whether they can lower the prices. It's really much better than those "quote and haggle" type of salesperson in other furniture shops whereby you really dunno you are chopped carrot or not and how much lower should you negotiate for after the initial quote.

White Minimalist Table Kudos to Star Living (Star Furniture Pte Ltd) for delivering my white minimalist storage dining table and white glossy storage bench as promised, at 2am. There was a chip damaged at the base which they duly came and replaced 2 days later. All these with phone confirmation of delivery the day before and good coordination especially considering it was the week leading leading up to CNY. This is really quite good compared to some of the horror stories I read on the forum about furniture delivery and defects rectification. Will definitely consider going back to them again in future. Have PMed you the info. Yah my home is actually quite small only 91sqm so have to make every area count and all pure white theme definitely helps too! We also built in lots of storage and hidden storage areas to try to keep the clutter hidden whenever we can.

Minimalist TV Remote Controller Another minimalistic design by Sony whereby the remote controller is supposed to be placed upside down... When the remote is placed down and not in use, its just one pure sleek rectangle with the brand and a circular button. Minimalistic beauty!

Thanks for the compliment! I do agree with you on most of the points to bring out the minimalism theme...thats why I have 1. Glossy white laminates for all my carpentry 2. Simple low profile white sofa with clean lines and steel legs 3. Straeight cut clean lines for the ceiling, feature wall and widow grilles Haha i have already built in something to make it ait more funky...will show more of my living n dining area late once my dining table is delivered...it is coming between 10 pm and 4am tonight! Guess it must have been a busy festive season...Hope I cn wake up if they really ring my doorbell at 4am ;p

I called up king & king Wong they only have the white matt version and not the glossy one that I was looking for. Thanks for sharing though, maybe will drop by the place to see if there are other nice things to buy.

Minimalist TV I really like the black monolithic design of the Sony TV. I don't think you can get more minimalist than this...unless you do without a TV all together I think to some extent, the TV looks nicer when it's off (all black flushed) than when it's on..

Timber flooded into the house white glossy laminate on plywood with internal white pvc. Realised that there were black lines alone the laminate edges and joints in the carpentry was abit of a kill-joy in our all-white theme...our ID did explained about how solid core laminates would have no black lines when we were choosing our laminates but we didn't really comprehend how it will all turn out then..plus the fact that it will be double the price of normal laminates (which will be way out of our budget) quickly decided the choice for us Strange that most ready made furniture we came across including IKEA don't have this black joint lines though..well something to take note of for those going for all white laminates on your carpentry. haha yes, it's 16 psf for the windows and 8 psf for the white power coated grilles. There were quite a few colours to choose from, and when we were deciding, we just scanned around the opposite block and counted that of the 6 homes that did up white powder coated, 4 did it in green while 1 did it in blue and 1 did tinted black. We liked the green on white better and that the majority of pple did it that way further cemented the decision for us haha our neighbour who renovated subsequently about a month after us also did it up in white powder coated and green panels..
