  1. If I'm not wrong, normally they'll dig up a small 'tunnel' for the pipes to run on the floor, then covered wif the tiles, ie concealed underneath.

  7. I reckoned that the HDB officer was sitting on my application. Where got submitted on 14 Nov, till nw then say markings not clear? Some more can say he'll mark out clearer for me instead of sending back the plans to my contractor for re-submission. Kns... So nw he say he re-submitted the plan to HQ for me oredi, and I shld be getting a reply within the next few days. Lol. Next few days will be 2 WEEKS oredi lor... Also, he was telling me that my proposed hacking of the two toilets wall is rare and not sure whether HQ will approve anot. Tink he himself first time see such reno of combined toilet. So many ppl doing it nowadays, dun tell me all illegal 'mod' meh? Haha...
  8. Haha... Nw some works are halt due to the hacking permit yet to be approved. Called up HDB and the officer says the submitted plan markings not clear. I was like WTF?! Plan was submitted on 14 Nov and nw then they say not clear?!?! *faint*

Some minor adjustments needed to ensure ample walking and working space. Bad news: My hacking of common room walls and toilet walls are still pending HDB approval. Oredi 1 week plus but yet to receive the green light. Nw my living room floor tiling is delayed due to this. Sigh... Oredi called and emailed them to expedite the evaluation process.

  13. Shifted out of my current place today. Packed and store all bulky items at storage place. Essential items moved to my mum's place where I'll be staying for the next 4 mths or so. Today buyer came for final inspection. She looked happy of all my customized furnishings and said that she'll only be doing minor touchup. Completion date : Wed 19 Sep. So sad and down leaving my current house juz nw. Lived there for 10yrs plus.   15. If they are taking bridging loan, then by right they dun need extension mah. The buying of their flat can be concurrent and complete without waiting for urs since they will hv $ frm the bridging loan. Having said, means there's no need for them to extend since they can complete their buying earlier if they want (unless there's another round of chain reaction frm the party they are buying frm). As for payment of COV, if I'm not wrong : For HDB loan - pay on 1st apptm For bank loan - pay on 2nd apptm
  16. COV they'll only get after the 2nd apptm (after deducting all the necc costs). They dun get the COV on 1st apptm. Usually seller extend is due to chain reaction. They need to extend cos they are getting resale too, and they hv no place to stay after getting their sales proceeds while waiting for their new place to be done up. That's y they need extension. As wat we mentioned earlier, it's ur own decision and risk.
  17. Nope. Written agreement doesn't count. Only authorization frm HDB allows u to extend. Extension equates subletting. Requires HDB's approval. Juz keep ur fingers crossed if u are gg ahead wif the extension on ur own.

  19. Some furniture shops provides customization for bed frames. Alternatively, u could ask Roy to do up a false board (wall) to ur desired height (probably slightly higher than ur frames+mattress) to cover the gap. U can either hv niches on the board for place small photo frames within or simply place the photo frames or small ornaments on the ledges.
