  1. Please pm me your electrician too. Thank you.
  2. There was a T-Blog recently called "whitehouse" if I remember correctly. Most of her furniture was from Scanteak too and it turned out very nice. Well I think there were some pieces from Air Division and Mountain teak too but she kept it very clean so it brought out the "Art" in the furniture. With each extra piece of decoration, it either adds to the artistic look of the place or adds to the "clutter". Thats the one thing to be careful off.
  3. Hey, your place looks amazing! The blue fabric on the white wall is simply beautiful. Yes, 2 side tables will take up more space naturally. But if you do have the space for it I don't see why not. Can we have more photos pleaseeee.
  4. Ah this is the exact sofa I'm eyeing! I sat on it and just sank in.. Ahhh(just remembered how it felt)... Some of the other scanteak sofas didn't give me that "sinking in" feel. As I'm a Scandinavian + wood person too I checked out many others like places like garfunkt, white woods, air, mountain teak and journey east... Not many come close that "sinking in" feel. I think that some of these "designer" furniture pay lots of attention to Form but miss out a bit on Function. There must be a reason why the sofa your hubby chose has been selling for 20 years. I've a feeling it has something to do with the balance of form and function.. I'm not sure if any of these current designs can last even 5 years on their catalog. And you don't need another reason to purchase a big TV.
  5. If both you and your ID cannot accept that old sofa look then may be he needs to give in on this one. I like their newer range too.
  6. Congrats on getting such a big condo. And I really like your design themes, can't wait to see the finished product! Jia you! I've been thinking of getting some furniture from scanteak because I think their designs are quite nice and value for money.. Can you guys explain why you don't like their stuff? Is my taste really that bad? Haha. As for your fully paid furniture, as long as they are not delivered I'm pretty sure you can either change them within their inventory or get a credit voucher which I've seen people sell here for about 10-15% discount. That way you can get your desired furniture and not lose too much.. TS
  7. Wow, Congrats! How big is that? I'm guessing about 135-140sqm? You can definitely have a kitchen island in there. Also, where is this located?
  8. Hey, Where did you go for such a huge selection of chairs? I've already been to gnee hong and comfort furniture but couldn't find anything that suits my liking... Thanks.
  9. Hi guys, I'm building a wall mounted lighting fixture and I want to use LED strips in it. And I'm looking for a small/compact driver to power up the LEDs that can be hidden in my light fixture? I only need a very small amp one as I'm using very few LEDs. I went around all the shops in Sim Lim tower and they only have big metal ones or the "laptop power" type. So I searched online and found this... Where is this available in Singapore? http://www.lightingstyles.co.uk/Accessories-Lamps-transformers/Control-Gear-for-LED-lamps/Ultra_Compact_350mA_LED_Driver_1-3w.htm
