  1. Hi salormoon80! Slightly expensive I think. But manage to bargain down quite a bit
  2. Hi all! We have moved into our new home! Only one word to describe our feeling! Fantastic! The process was very tiring (those who expereinced packing and unpacking will understand what I mean). Luckily we decided to engage The Helping Hands (mover) to help in moving the things. Cannot imagine moving the things by ourselves! Their service was surperb! Very experience, fast and professional! Will recommend them to my friends! Anyone has lobang for artifical grass turf? Was looking around and found only 2 suppliers exhibiting in the recent Singapore Garden Festival. Were quoted DIY prices for the turf and I think is a bit expensive. BTW, how easy it is to DIY the grass turf?

  11. It looks nice but agree with your Queen that it may not be the most comfortable arrangement for watching tv and resting. Both of you may end up fighting for the Eames chair
  12. Hi Nexer! Have PMed you! Hope you get the fan within your budget!
  13. Haha! Yah! it is spelled as WHOOSH not WHOOASH or WOOASH. My wifey corrected me once and I spelled wrongly again. Haha Haven't confirm the moving in date yet, thinking of moving after my ID has completed the remaining work. How about you? Your darth vader very lonely leh haha...
  14. Hi haven32, The fan is mounted on the actual ceiling. The gap between the ceiling and the fan is 25cm. If you surf its website, haiku fans come in two height, 25cm (low profile) and 32 cm(standard). The low profile has one less speed compared to the standard. I usually don't on it to the max speed, instead I use the 'whooash'mode where it alternate its speed from slow to fast (not the fastest) and I feel its sufficient for me. I think if you are going for its design and low power consumption, you can consider getting it. Have also PMed you the lobang where I got it from. Have fun shopping!
  15. Hi kelhy, have PMed you! Hope you get a good deal too!
  16. Really? I thought it looks smaller than it suppose to be. Have PMed you on the price!
  17. Hi BoBochacha! Our curtains are done by D'zander interiors. Although their showroom is small, their fabric selection, experience and customer service are not "small"!
  18. No la..only 55 inches. But it look like 46 inches on the feature wall.. Likely to due the to black colour..
  19. Haha he is very meticulous indeed. First look, without reading what you have written, I actually thought the trunking is going to be left visible that's why so neat.
  20. Ahlipz: thanks! There r other types of finishes for the door knobs. Interested? Did u buy the white armchair from lush lush in the end? My wife is also interested in it after trying it. It is indeed very comfortable! NeoBY: thanks! Been thinking abt the crystal lights...but so silly of us as its already a done deal. Too big also like that...dun think we will buy another one to replace.
  21. Some furniture and curtains came in over the week and here are the pictures! Sofa. We first took one picture w/o the cream cushions but find it too black! haha! So added in the cream cushions in this picture. TV! Spent one afternoon shopping for this TV. Settled on LG new Cinema series cos the border is very thin. Can anyone guess how big is the TV? Hint: the wall-to-wall feature wall made the TV looks smaller Mattress and Bed frame! Trying to have the hotel feel for the MBR. Still short of a pair of set table and table lamps. Wonder if we can get a side table with height that matches our mattress height....hmmmm There are some minor work to be done by my ID (Rick). It is progressing slowly because the sub-contractors need me to open the door for them and I could only do so on weekends or weekday evenings. Nevertheless, our reno is coming to an end soon. Yeah! I will be posting our review on Rick soon and we have been thinking on the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that we should use. Thought of a few, such as creativity, level of meticulous, worksmanship, timeliness. Feel free to contribute if you have thought of others and thanks in advance!
