  1. Hi Aelyra! Thanks and welcome to our T-blog! Are you starting your own T-blog soon?
  2. A blessing in disguise? Mind pm me where you bought it?
  3. Hi hwaa, Welcome to our T-blog Thanks for sharing! Will KIV it first then.
  4. Ok. Let me try another curtain maker this weekend. Hopefully it will have much nicer fabric and price is cheaper or comparable! So greedy of me.... haha
  5. Maybe you chose a better fabric. Did u approach other curtain makers for quotation then?
  6. Yah! This is the second time I bought light from them and no discount was given for both times! BTW, what is the shape of the builb did you get?
  7. Went to MGL today. Nice showroom and has quite a wide selection of material. Was quoted $2.1K for: 1)Day & normal curtain for living area 2)Day & dimmer curtain for BR2 3)Day and normal curtain for WIW 4)Day and dimmer curtain for MBR 5)PVC roller curtain for window at study area Was quoted $2.1K+ for the above....cheap or ex? Going to get 1 or 2 more quotations to compare.
  8. Ytd, Rick sms that the tic/tac door for the bomb shelter cannot be full height as a full height door will hit the foyer light when I open it. He attributed the problem to the fact that there is no false ceiling. Reason: with a false ceiling, a downlight would be used and thus a full height door can be used. He proposed to lower the door height but doing so, will adds another horizontal line on the feature which I do not like it. I'm checking with Rick now if he can absorb the cost to do a false ceiling at the foyer while I pay for another downlight (the orignal light likely to be wasted) so that original design can be used, given that he did had the chance to highlight to me this implication earlier. 1st chance was when I told him to remove the false ceiling at the foyer at the early stage of finalising the 3D drawings. 2nd chance (prehaps) was when we were buying lights together. I'm waiting for his decision now. 11 May 12, 1023pm: Rick informed that he had removed the foyer light and will be doing a false ceiling at the foyer....all these for free. (+pts for Rick here)
  9. Hi MAG26, Have PMed you! Hope you get it at a better price than me!
  10. Cool! Do take a close up when you have the time. We like your samsung tv too. It is a very nice piece. Very sleek.
  11. We can understand why you removed it. We removed ours too haha... Don't like the colour at all.
  12. Finally bought our dining lamp today. Hope it will complement the dining set
  13. We are also doing a full feature wall Looking forward to more pictures from you. Especially on your feature wall!
  14. May, why do you need to paint 6 to 7 coats over 3 days?
  15. Sorry. I thought by areas which are difficult to cover you are referring to corners. It is good that they take responsibility What about the popping up parts of the laminate??
  16. Yeah... Most likely he has done a wrong coat. We just hope it will not affect the final coat as the red is quite strong. We are still trying to do black and white for the living area (getting very hard with so many nice and colourful furnitures). For the MBR, we wanted something more cosy, hence the purple.
  17. I see. Our house do not have difficult corners so I think they had used paint. Just that most of the colours are not the colours we had chosen. We will keep a close eye on the final coat. Cannot imagine having a bright red wall for bedroom
  18. Hello! Welcome to the forum! We were also contemplating similar designs but decided to give up the idea eventually. If you are thinking of having those vertical hanging consoles, you may want to reconsider as our ceiling height are not as high as those in other countries so the feel would be quite different from that in the pictures.
  19. Thanks Dovey!! We will go look for it there!! Hope that it will keep our crystals sparkly
  20. Hi Jango! We saw it at Lighting Centre at Balestier Plaza. We must forwarn you that it is not cheap either... Going at around $500 plus as it is considered "designer" lamp. Hope this helps!
