    maybe its different at your side. cos my area, no one hang 2 external compressors at all. my service yard below has a small window, it's for the compressor to blow out hot air, the sy is a designated spot for the 2nd compressor. all units does that, for those that has 2 compressors.

    cos mine is system 4 + system 1.. my single unit for living room the compressor is at the service yard. system 4 compressor is outside the window with bracket. hdb dont allow 2 external compressors.

    vanity, basin installed. basin and taps from taobao. common toilet basin and tap installed, tap from taobao.

    here we go. common room windows all changed, in fact changed out the whole house windows and add in window grilles.. pocket one big hole.... my toilet bowl and heater arrived. decided on instant heater cos its the easiest and cheapest way out for resale. bought the rubine with added pressure valve and 707 everton instant heater. toilet bowl wise, went for the baron 368A and super love it. difference between its brother the baron 888 is that the seat sits bigger, flush button is rectangle and overall looks nicer.

    so to my carpentry. so basically my u shaped kitchen will look something like this... i will be boxing up my water pipe and top portion i will do partition boxup and run acrylic panel and inside put t5. my living room tall unit will look something like this.. drawings all provided by ID. i have 3D provided by him

    no i bought this locally thru a local reseller from fb. but i did bought some fans from jb also but i went ht lightings at premas jaya instead of tampoi where most ppl go..

    my balcony tiles is herringbone.. and my floor tiles is normal homogeneous tiles but in raw feel materials, looks abit like cement concrete feel.

    bought this instead of the overhung dishrack. got this water dispenser as well.

    yup, actually u're pretty observant. i already fixed casement windows, its the best option as its a 2pc window, if i use sliding window then i cannot optimize the opening. for the high stool part, the walking space is still alright for adults.. so for kids at the moment its still okay. as theres limited walking space facing the tv, they can only walk in between the tall unit and island, that space is still quite okay.

    my aircon setup is as below. Mitsubishi starmex 2 ticks. system 4 + system 1 (21k btu) for the living room. reason for going with starmex 2 ticks over the new 5 ticks is cos the 2 ticks has been reliable over the many yrs, well known.

    oh... okay now i get what u mean. did consider that before but my wc at that position is very awkward for the door to be created there, might be abit squeezy and tight for door. actually this is some sort my contingency if the door facing balcony cannot be opened up. the wc drain hole doubt can be relocated if im not wrong. anyway i have shifted in for about 5-6 days already and so far we are quite good with the door facing balcony. as i go along u will see that actually my kitchen is a open concept so the kids going to common toilet is still okay, not too bad. i did a door going into the service yard as well.. will be closed up when i on the living room aircon.

    this is my initial draft. store remains and not gonna extend further, initially thot wanna extend out and extend out the kitchen as well. doing a main island and a main tall unit at the living room. sealing up the original common toilet door allows me to have a big tall unit.

    i would not want a door at the small walkway cos i want my kids to have space to run around. im relocating my common toilet doorway to facing balcony and seal up the original doorway thats facing the living room. one disadvantage is that i will enter the wet area first, but its not really a concern to me cos its common toilet.
