Good afternoon gentlemen :-) or should I include ladies here as well? I haven't used my aircon for more than 2 years, and I'm thinking of clean it up and start using. Can anyone recommend a reliable aircon cleaner? I'm near Jurong side, the wild wild west. it's an old Panasonic aircon, may need to add some gas since it's so old... BTW how much would it cost? it's a 3 split unit aircon system. Is a chemical cleaning good/required? I noticed some were saying "chemical and steam cleaning", what's that? It would be great if you guys can share/tutor me on these since I haven't clean the aircon like ever.. Thanks!

I'm considering to totally remove the very old aircon system in the 4 room flat, but not install new aircon as of now. May I know how much I can roughly sell the aircon and to whom? Can the un-installer help me patch up the holes on the walls, paint it up, etc? I'm planning to lay a network cable from the hall to master bedroom, but there was a false ceiling along the sides of the ceiling. so is it possible? How much would it cost for the labor? I shall buy the network cable myself. The distance between 2 terminal points should be around 5-6 meters. Hall is next to the master bedroom thus it should be a straight line for laying the cables. The cylinder (or called cartridge?) or the whole water tap?

Really newbie in home DIY.... The basin water tap is leaking recently, but it's purchased like 5-6 months ago? I opened it up and it seems the cylinder ( or is it called the cartridge?) inside is not in good quality. Is there any place where I can just buy this cylinder for replacement? How much does it cost? if not, is there a cheaper place to buy the whole water tap? What's the market price for this? I paid S$30+ for this single water tap Any help/guidance is sincerely appreciated.... Thank you guys and have a wonderful day~~

I was told KDK warranty is only 1 year while Fanco is lifetime warranty? The lifetime warranty is for motor I guess. Just wondering besides motor and remote control, what other components most likely will fall apart after a few years?

The "lightest" I can find in the market is at least 6.5kg, which is still too big for a small family.... I remembered there is a branded called "Farfalla" that sold 5.5kg model, but now they carry 6.5+kg as well... Is there any other brand/model available? I called *spam, no good news either... Thanks

I'm surprised to know that it's the upper deck that doesn't feel the wind: I thought it would be the lower deck who won't feel the wind & the upper deck would be blown away by the strong wind Would it be because of the compulsory distance of the fan blades from the ceiling? And how far away from the bed are the blades? I'm concerned about the safety as well. My neighbor actually suggests me don't install the fan due to safety reason.

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions & recommendations! After reading the advices, it may be a good idea to just use homeplug or wireless adapter for the connection, instead of going through the painful renovation work just for a wiring... Sad the cable was not laid out in the first place... BTW, let's say we're renovating a new place, is it possible to have a wire installed in the trunking just for the purpose as a "pulling assistance", for future addition of wires such as this case?
