Those using roller blinds, if the weather is windy, will the blinds will hitting against the wall? will that be noisy?? And, is anything using roman blinds??

Thanks man. Really appricated it. The colours choose by the consultant cannot find in nippon paint. I will just stick with ICI then.

Nowadays nippon and ICI have this specialist called colour consultant. Pay them and they will send someone down to take a look at your house, ask you what kind of theme are you going for. Then they will discuss the colours with you. After first round of selection of colours, they will take pictures of your house. Transfer it to their laptop (they will do it on the spot). Apply the colour scheme that you have selected on the pictures using a software. It will takes around 30 mins. After that they will show you the pictures like what I have posted. If you don't the colours just highlight to them. As for me, my consultation is paid & arranged by mine contractor. Some useful links for you. http://www.nipponpaint.com.sg/Colour_Schem...nsult/terms.htm http://www.dulux.com.sg/flash/home.html

Need some urgent advice from the forumers here. Previously connie had suggested a layout that we are going to follow it. Intend to have a string curtain to do as divider. Here is the layout. I just relooked the picture taken by the colour consultant and realise putting string curtain, the dining area still be seen partially. Something like this (white line): My hubby was suggestion this, but i feel is looks weird. Please give me some advice. Need to finalise before reno starts. Thanks.

Wardrobe room MBR Feeling excited now. Counting down 3 days to reno start date.

Received 3D pictures from the colour consultant. Looks abit weird from the pictures. Have choosen warm, earth range of colours in order to achieve more cozy look. Hopefully will look good in real life. Those who wants to get colour consultant from either nippon or ICI, see how they put up the colours from these pictures. Here are the pictures (have resize the pictures): Dining area Cosy area Living room area Guest room

Today met up with ICI colour consultants and patrick. Colour concept more or less done. Have select earth range of colours. I consider them as 'safe' colours. Afraid to try on advanturous colours. Heh. Now waiting for the consultant to email me the colour codes. I wonder should i choose ICI paint or Nippon paint. Any advice?? Some ppl say both of them are more or less the same.
-
YES. Wack them. Cant be ppl place dining area beside the full length window right? So far i have not seen ppl doing that. Actually my previous owner place the dining table at an corner that I will be turning into cosy area. If I follow the previous owner, I can only get a 4-sitter dining table.

Only the border of the wardrobe will be reskin. Actually I have no intention to do it in the 1st place, just change the doors, but my contractor suggested in doing it to look nicer. Here is the pic of the current wardrobe.

No measurements, no details how to ask my contractor? But tell you in advance first, my contractor pricing quite close to ID firm.

Never mind lor.. Just show us the fnished works. hehe.. When you unpacked. -
My reno haven start.. will be starting next week.. will let you know.. but then again, have to see the cost involved.. if the cost of re-skinning is almost the same as tearing down existing ones and construct a new one, then no point re-skin.

I am doing it! I don't like my current wardrobe sliding door, total 4 doors and 2 of it is with full height mirror which makes the door heavy and difficult to push. Decided to get my contractor to change it to aluminium top track glass sliding door and also change the skin of the wardrobe to to match my sliding door. My contractor qoute me $1300. You can see my reno blog, for the current look of the wardrobe. My wardrobe is pretty big eh.
