  1. Since nothing has been committed you have no loss right?
  2. Nice!! Your bedroom 2 beds in a row is a good idea.. Shall have it for my kids. Then their bedroom bigger can put study tables..
  3. oh.. hope my girl can get in.. fingers crossed..
  4. Haven. Last year my little one was barely 6 months old. Cant cope with that and the PV. Nearer the end of the year we gave up and hired help. Now we expecting 3rd one.. really cant.. So no choice left wait for ballot. How's the school btw?
  5. yea.. cant wait to get my keys n start reno.. The eldest will be in primary 1 next year..
  6. hmmm, think also depends on whether you want the singapore style smokey bbq or the angmo style.. Think recently there's a bodum bbq pit promo, the kind where you can throw in wood chips to help smoke/flavour the meat. Plus there's cover so will have lesser smoke. If you watch licence to grill on food discovery channel, he likes to bbq that way. seems workable.
  7. I thought there are a few threads on people installing retractable awnings? I suppose they are legal? As for BBQ. depends on whether your neighbours complain you or not.
  8. more or less.. school is the primary reason why i wanna buy the place. dont even have to cross any road to get to school. i agree with the windy part, especially during year end.. almost free aircon..
  9. heh.. i think i getting my keys later.. 1st march then can submit documents..
  10. no worries =) will be one of your next block neighbour soon.. =)
  11. You might not want to reveal your address?
  12. Huh? Well i did try to read as much tblogs as possible.. the closest vague figure i got was around few k a few years ago. Most of them either wants an open balcony or already has it done up.
  13. Anyone have any idea how much does it cost to build a roof in the balcony. I would want to extend my living room into the balcony but I dont see many threads talking about it.
  14. From what i see in other threads esp those regarding divorce cases, doesnt seem to be a good idea. You must appeal for each and every t&c that will affect you in future other wise the clause is just "frozen" until you buy a new HDB. One example i saw was the "Stay near parents grant clause".
  15. lol... its on the OTP form. 3. Confirmation by Seller 3.1 The Seller confirms that as at the Option Date, he has either  (a) satisfied the minimum occupation period determined by the Housing and Development Board (“HDB”); or (b) not satisfied the minimum occupation period but has obtained the HDB’s prior written consent for the sale of the Flat. 3.2 If the Seller has not met the requirement in Clause 3.1, this Option will be null and void. The Seller will return to the Buyer any monies paid by the Buyer to the Seller, whether or not the Buyer has exercised this Option. The Buyer may pursue any other claim he may have against the Seller.
