Who did u engaged? Famous Mr. K? Well I prefer someone who have time to ans my questions as I do have alot of questions to ask. I won't feel comfortable if my id/contractor got no time to ans me haha. I feel you, Arshavin. It has been a month since I submitted the defects list. Work conducted on a half past six standard. I can find new defects everything I visit my flat. Like newly discovered chipped toilet floor tile. Now I'm on my way to meet bsc to go through one by one what are the outstanding defects to be completed by this sat. Cuz my reno already starting, so not so nice to still be doing defects.

Hmm.. I order 2 pcs of hello kitty mirror (quite big), several ceiling lights, 5 spotlights, 2 downlights & some misc items. Total shipping cost is $187.34. First time ordering. I paid for concierge fee for them to check for me. But not sure did they actually check anot haha.

I have not gone to case nor small claim tribunal. Super busy over the weekend. Did alot of shopping here and there. Bought my sink at hoe kee.. Pleon 8 & some bathroom accessories. We also went to the mayer warehouse sales & the grohe bathroom accessories sales. Didnt get anything from there. So tempting to buy the Raspberry Kitchenaid KSM 150 but I didnt budget for it & I'm already over-budget. Super in love with Grohe's K7 Semi-Pro Medium kitchen faucet. Sadly singapore only have the BIG sized K7 but not the medium one. If I were to order from amazon, I have to wait for 1-3 months! Amazon sells cheaper so if anyone interested in getting grohe's tap can see see. So I have to drop that idea of getting my favourite tap and settle with a cheap cheap sin siang choon tap @ $318. (Buying tap this coming weekend) We also went to the gain city @ changi city point to make deposit for my Air-con. And also 'booked' a 50 inch philips tv + LG Ultra Slim Sound Bar NB4530A. I can still change my mind on the TV model though. Met this grill guy to take measurements for my service yard.. Gonna have window panels & grills for service yard only. And he tell me my left side is shorter by 1inch than the right side. =.=" So he say he have to put white cement for the window panel & a small piece of metal to support the big grill frame. (I have checked with my ID and he says the method used is very norm in the industry. So well... *shrugs*) Spotted **NEW** chipped tile in my common room toilet which is not there previously. Hai I dunno how the workers do their work. I spot more defects everything I visit my flat. Their sub-contract tiler slept, eat & smoke in my unit!! Sleep & eat (applicable only to during lunchtime) I can close one eye. But smoking is a BIG NO NO. Both me n hubby dont smoke. Somemore his cig ashes are on the floor.. Status Update: My taobao is on its way to singapore. On 23/4 peeka's officer say it will take 2 weeks (if no disruption) to reach their warehouse in Eunos. Cant wait! Day 1 My renovation finally starts today! Today they will be doing the cabinet base & laying of cupboard protection layer on my floors. Will upload pictures when I visit this evening after work. Edited: There isnt much to take picture of.. Basically just laying cupboard protection layer on my floors only.

Mine high floor. BSC still doing the defects after 3 weeks. The window frames is >.< so many dents and uneven colour tones (Cuz they spray paint on it.) Hai.. If have mentioned that I paid a deposit to ID#4 right? My friend suggested me to talk to them see if can request them to do some carpentry work for me. Instead, ID#4 used a clause in their contract that states that if I cancel the contract, i will have to pay 20% of the contract amount. Later i will post the chat log between the ID and me. My sis helped me called their founder and he ask me to write an email to their customer care to cancel my contract and agree to forfeit the deposit. Someone pointed out to me that the clause will not be valid due to being unfair trade terms. Is there nothing that I can do to savage part of the deposit? Doing some carpentry work is preferable. Haiz headache.

Schedule provided by my ID. Neatly done and well planned. He also advised us & include the dates to deliver the accessories. BSC just called me that all defects have been rectified. Obviously they didnt visit my unit today. I spotted another 2 chipped floor tiles (1 at common toilet & 1 at service yard) The filters doesnt fit floor trap at kitchen. My ID did alot of markings again. haha..

Hmm ya quite small kitchen & service yard. I doubt i will be hand washing clothes too much. And not able to stack the dryer on the washing machine (front load) due to the default hanging clothes system provided to us. So I had to add a electrical point to the service yard if i were to get a dryer. Thanks HansamuQ.. Pm-ed you already.

So excited.. I got my 3D design from my ID already. Simple & delicate. Love the ceiling cuz it's not L box. My integrated bedside table is also cool. I find my kitchen too white. So will be changing the countertop to black quartz. My hood is chimney style so I wont be covering up my hood with cabinets. BANKAI! The walls are actually dark greyish colour instead of black. Nth much to update since BSC have yet to complete rectifying my defects. Went over last night to check on the progress. - Rusty hinges in the utility box replaced - Cracked floor & wall tiles fixed (But they used my spare tiles! When I submit the form, I purposely check with BSC whether they will use my spare tiles (becuz I dont want them to use my spare tiles), they promised that they wont be using my spare tiles! ) - Filled the gaps between the wood skirtings but ugly work (Really regretted opting for floor tiles) - Window alignment still not fixed - Trying to fix the window's chip/dent frame by apply some paste. - Toilet still leak water cuz the water sensor thingy which stops the water flowing is faulty so it keeps pump in water till water overflows. Super sian thinking that BSC will delay my reno. Will not be able to move in June liao. My hubby will miss world cup..

That is not exactly what he told me la.. its what I understood from what he told me. Provided I didnt misunderstood him la. Haha.. not that he dont want alot of business bah.. who dont want to earn money right. I read from other blogs that they hire famous contractor cuz of good ratings but in the end cuz too overwhelming business, like too busy to handle like that. Well intention of that post is let ppl know that if they wanna search for reviews etc, should be nth useful u can find. I also tried searching hahaha. If feels comfortable den ask for his contact.

To those people who ask for my ID contact & people who are interested but yet to ask, Let me explain more on ID #6. His company is a newly set-up business (less than 1 year). He does not advertise on any platform other than through word of mouth. He does not have any FB page or website for his company. I asked him why not set up a FB page so that ppl who are interested can be able to see his work. But he didnt want to have one. Why? Reason: Based on what I understand from him is that FB will indeed bring in businesses. But he dont want to have alot of business in expense of quality. He put in alot of effort in each of his clients. And he does not like to rush on his work. My project can be completed in 6 weeks but he plans another additional 2 weeks (total 8 weeks) to check and make sure that everything is alright before handover keys to me. He told me that he visits project site almost everyday on weekdays. After 2 weeks of contact with him, he is a total workaholic. I always have alot of questions. I whatapps him like whenever I can(between 8am to 12mn), when i have questions. He can reply very fast. The longest wait for his reply is less than 2 hours. Planned to view my 3D on 20 April & if no changes to 3D, he wants to start work on 28 April. I really hope that he can fulfil what he had promised. It is still too early to judge. Let my reno journey prove everything. Actually quite pai seh, and i didnt tell him that I got post t-blog here.. XD

Haha.. She cant differentiate M & W cuz sometimes the M upside down looks like W (vice versa). Have to really see the fine details of the prints like W have more edgy feel and M is straight.

Lucky they give blank tiles if not and its not a cheap set. Cost us 4600NT Haha. Although worm does not clashes with cat but it looks like M. LOL everytime my mum gets either M or W she will ask whats this. Den we help her see got ga not.

Can stay, we use initials. R - Rooster; W - Worm; C - Cat; M - Mouse Didn't use centipede cuz it clashes with cat. XD Something like brother labelling machine but my sis uses casio.

Nope don't have animal tiles.. We didn't noticed till we had our first game. We arranged the tiles and my mum said "eh... Who take extra ah.. Why short of 4 tiles ah" initially we still dunno and open all tiles up and start to call out one by one.. 东 and everyone takes out dong. So on.. Till end den realized it's the animal tiles! Den we used blank ones and paste labeling stickers T.T
