  1. TOILET will be hacking part of the wall separating the WC/shower, so there are "bigger" entrances. not hacking the inside as we want to keep them separate. any idea why the height of the toilets are different too? the ceiling height of the WC is much lower...because of beam?

  3. never knew that renovating is such a tiring yet exciting project to undertake! plan was revised and re-drawn after consulting the various stakeholders involved...so many things to take into consideration. below are photos of the place before renovation. engaged a contractor (not ID) who is a family friend. LIVING ROOM planning to hack the left wall (to the kitchen). undecided about the right wall as there is an ugly gas pipe behind it. any recommendations? contractor suggest to hack but leave a balance. i thinking of doing a cabinet to hide it instead.   4. hi all, i got my keys earlier this month and am very excited about the upcoming reno process. so many ideas but pity, the pocket not deep enough. have learned a fair bit through t-blogs here but still need plenty of advice from the seasoned forummers who have actually went through a reno. so, i am creating my own t-blog to ask questions (pls bear with me), monitor the process and hopefully serve as a guide for other noobs in future. below is my floor plan and photos will be uploaded by the weekend;
  5. hi salad, can you please send me your quotation from mr lee? my email is jordanchang@mail.com. i just got my keys to a 3I and is on a tight budget for reno. not looking to do much also. by the way, you did not do your kitchen top, right?
  6. i agree with dexufto's comments. i had to be more realistic esp since i don't have a bottomless wallet.
  7. thanks for the prompt reply. will definitely throw the idea around.
  8. hi rover, i'm getting my 3I flat soon as well. may i ask, what's your idea for your island kitchen? its something i have planned too, but space is really a constraint (unless i extend it into the living room). thanks in advance.
  9. hi sohnice, nice place you have got. i'm getting my 3I flat soon, and will incorporate some of your ideas. can you please share your ID/contractor contact and price/quote details? also, one question on the floor trap - can the "iron grill" part be easily removed for cleaning/clearing of debris? thanks in advance.
