Arrghh Day 13 & 14, Rush down to visit and not a single worker there. ID said this week plumbering, rewiring, and painting will start. Message ID and told me not to worry everything had been scheduled and telling me this Thursday plumbering will start. Have to check again tomolo and see if any of the works still had been done. If tml still same bo lang again sure screw him upside down if works are delayed. Pek check ah.

Hi may i know what type of track lights u using for your kitchen and how many led does it use? May i know if its able to brighten up a little bit compared to conventional lights

Only built in wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, and tv console.

Hi Brothers & Sisters, Would like to ask if any of you use track lights for kitchen. Friend of mine had given me some track lights which is LED. ID told me that track lights wouldn't be bright cos my kitchen theme is black n white. From my understanding based on the information given here, LED focus on 1 point only. So if I wish to make it a little brighter, Do I really have to go for normal lighting only? Thanks to anyone whom can answer me question.

total rush with a dateline due to rental issues, cos as of now i'm renting a place and its very very expensive. So i dont wish to top up another half more month of rental cos it will be a waste.

However i ask ard and check with HDB and ID was bull****ting me. I've yet to confront him cos if i do, It will be deadly. Now back to your story and since i'm new to reno, what i could suggest is ask him what works can be done since ur time frame is limited. Since your friend recommend his friend to you, Probably you could seek his assitance as well & ask why are there so many hiccups. Whats the company name and mayb you could highlight to others about this to prevent the same thing to happen. Hope everyhting will go smoothly for u.

Seriously??? I tot urs was halway through ler, My rewiring had not been done yet and my L Box need to wait once rewiring is done which is probably next week. Painting/Plastering still not up yet...Arrgh. 14 more days to go excluding sunday and that is if they work on saturdays also.

Day 10 & 11 updates, Progress very slow, Only see 1 or 2 worker everyday. Alot of things still not done...

Can i ask u, the ceiling where you hang bamboo poles, is that removable or u change new ones? mine was kinda dirty and thinking of painting it only.

Hopefully my neighbours are good too...So far met 1 only. Received some bad news today. ID told me my common room cannot have sliding cabinet due to the space. Haiz. Any expert around got this kind of measurement of my common room? He says not enough space to hang etc etc due to the designs for the interior.

Hi Rondy, Thanks for popping by. Everything adds up $37,850 excluding furniture, audio/video, lightings & toilet stuffs. Dang...My budget initially for reno was 30k only but than....Sigh!!!

Mine is only day 10 as of Wed, When i visit earlier during lunch..they're doing the tiles for living room. As for your 3D, at least you got a rough feel how your toilet gonna be. Mine is only living room area, and 2 cabinets door. I don't really bother so much into the 3D but whats most important is if he can meet my dateline for moving in. I don't mind if there is a little work left on the kitchen as what he had promised.

Just stay positive in the meantime Mr & Mrs Evi, I hope everything happened to you now may turns out to be better in the near future be it career/health etc etc. Hope to see your transformation complete.

Icic, mine is almost like urs, everyday during lunch time i go visit to see what works had been done. i have to ask ID what had been done this week than he will say it out or else i guess he will just keep quiet and proceed with the work.. Sigh!!!! Reno works is such a tiring thing to do.
