Hi Vhardono, So insani has not included the 7% gst into the cost yet? Thought iceprice and amazon include gst cost into the tabulation . How did you pay up the gst when your item arrived? Who informed you? Looking at my cost calculation, comprehending gst, shipping and the 4% paypal cost, buying from insani would still be about 20-30% cheaper compared to buying locally (with 25% discount off retail ala carte purchase price). Hi Vhardono, Finally paid up for my orders on insani24. Actually I already lodged my orders online on 7aug, but made a mistake to choose paydirect when i actually meant to pay by paypal (ie pay by credit card). After putting in the orders, they sent email to inform me of split delivery cos' some items were out of stock (though I have carefully chosen items indicated as on stock). Anyhow, since they reassured me stocks will come in coming monday, so proceeded to pay. Just FYI, apparently they have to split to multiple shipment also because each shipment has to be below 1000euro to avoid paying custom clearance cost. Crossing my fingers on the delivery. Hi Kim76, Very interested in the chrome drinking water tap and 3M water filter you have recommended. Was it easy for your plumber to install? does the water really taste better as many of the Amazon users claimed? Is it mean to be changed out regularly every 6 mths regardless of usage? Product specs says 2000 gallons or 6mths.. Thinking whether I should connect the filter to the main sink mixer, or to the extra drinking tap sprout as what you do. We have 4 kids at home and drink tons of water everyday (after boiling). Since it will be installed in the dry kitchen where the water will mainly be used for drinking purpose, perhaps I should just install straight to the sink mixer? Really love reading about your amazon purchase experience. Can't wait to buy the kraus sinks you and lyefam et al have recommended Cheers, Luxray

Hi vhardono, Thks for sharing the insani link. Checked out a few prices against iceprice...is indeed cheaper.. However, saw some sharing from fellow forummers that he has encountered late delivery and lost shipment from insani. How is your experience with them so far? If items is indicated as on stock, how long did the shipment take to arrive to you? I will need my bathroom fittings probably in 3 weeks' time...is it safe to buy items with stocks available? Guess better not risk it for those that have no stocks on hand and require 3 weeks or so lead time. Thks for sharing! Cheers, Luxray

Any idea what would be the difference betwn buying from amazon vs from vornado directly? I see amazon selling this model at $99.99 Including free shipping... Contemplating using a Vornado fan at my study room of my new place.. instead of ceiling fan....more portable (to use at other areas when required), cheaper to buy, no installation cost..but worried about warranty coverage since it is purchased directly from us online store. What is the warranty coverage? Also, is the coverage and effectiveness comparable to ceiling fans? I have ceiling fans in all my rooms of current house and love the circulation it provides. Thks!
