Yes, agree with you that CB2 has very pretty stuff!
-
hmm.. it's $28 for 550mm ones.
can this fit in my 600mm? or i must get exactly same length?
Hettich is from Germany too?
Yes Hettich is from Germany. I haven't try it out to comment though. I read somewhere here that Hettich costs "only $28-30 per set of tracks vs Blum $45-50". I think don't have to worry too much about the length, after you decide what brand you wanna use, tell your carpenter and he can custom build according to the hardware dimensions?

Finally going to start my hacking tomorrow!
CONGRATS!

Thanks ^_^
Ya love the glass, it really brighten ups the entire house.
The ceiling fan is WindTrek Alumi Wooden Series – WH, which we bought at Sembawang Lighting House, one of the cheapest in Singapore and the Fan is really powerful.
Hi, thanks for the info. I'm considering this brand too, but have yet to seen the actual piece of this design around. Do the shop you bought from have this on display?

Share link? I need rugs!
This is the website - they got many nice stuff!

Yellow, to complement the red lights n vice versa.. Yeah!
Ooh, these are all very nice! A bit hard to decide, but maybe I'd go for contrasting colours
I would go for something orangy so it can match your kitchen tiles also and contrast with your lights and hopefully burnt orange kitchen laminate (if you manage to find and go ahead with it!)
I quite like the orangy yellow. BUT the rug is some plastic rug, i'm not sure how it feels like exactly.. the seller will send a sample piece to me!

Letting go this PH5 replica at $129 only. I bought this for my kitchen but have decided not to use pendant lamp there. It's a classic design great for your dining, living and bedroom.
For more details, can hop over to my sales thread - http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59179

My renovation pace is slowing down... but that's not too bad cos this gives me a breather! Now thinking if we should head to JB to buy downlights. Probably only getting LED ones for living room (around 1/3 of total number) and E27 type for the rest of the house. Given that I only wanna buy lights and most are not LED, not if savings will be that substantial if we buy across the causeway? But I feel abit if I don't go there at least just to see look.
Finished my 2nd round of taobao shopping and I came across this wonderful website selling Scandinavian design products. Should I get this rug to go under my dining table? It's 140cm which is the length of my table too.
Red to match my red pendant lamps?
Or how about contrasty colours like orange and lime green?

Hi bleucheeze, so far didn't encountered issue for all the downlights in my house ...
Can't remember if they are the most expensive range, but they are in the high side compared to the rest ... I guess there are other downlights which are more expensive, e.g. philip brand. Don't remember the size, think we choose the standard one.
Yes, tampoi will help you to test all the lights you bought on the spot ...
Alright. Thanks for the info!

Hi eenkenji, I'm considering whether to buy my downlight from JB. How has your downlight from tampoi been working for you so far, any issue?
I read from your blog that you bought the more expensive one at 88rm each. Is this price their most ex range? I saw some shop in SG selling so-called better quality one for around $100... mid range one is probably in $40s range.
What size is your downlight btw? Does Tampoi allow you to test the lights on the spot?
Thanks in advance!

May I know how much and where did you all buy it from? Like the retro design, only short coming is that I have a habit to bring my phone around but can't seem to find a retro cordless phone...
Saw it at Robinsons Orchard (but they don' have turquoise), The Good Things at clementi mall...

i was at Hafele over the weekend. the prices were shocking. 2 times the prices of Excel. and we're talking abt the baskets for kitchen cabinets.
But i'm thinking of buying my drawer runners ($28) from Hafele. The salesman wasn't of much help. so got to check with my contractor of 550mm fits.
Is blum better?
Hmm Hafele $28 is how long? I thinking of getting hettich, saw someone here mentioned it's cheaper than blum but quality is on par.

wah.. good deal.
i just signed up for M1 today.
nothing waived.
=(
but price was ok. $41 for 150mbps
Good price! Somehow I think it may be cheaper if I go for 2 separate plans for tv and fibre. Imagine I queue 3 hours for SH, how long do I need to queue at other service providers?!

Have decided to do away with Vento Fino fan for our dining area. I think it's not that practical... though wind is pretty strong, it can only aim at one person/direction. Shall hunt for a floor fan with vintage feel to it!
-
Nice! I like your use of glass, really opens up the space What model is the ceiling fan above your dining/island area?

Queued for 3 hours at IT show's starhub booth today!
Signed up for fibre+cable tv package, they waived registration and activation fee and most importantly openet terminal point installation, saved around $300 from this.

Was trying to surf Mayer website and it is quite 'aw'... Missing image links etc. watching out for their sale to get this hod + hood...
What brand are you eyeing? Ariston? I heard their after sales service is not very good. You can search around in the forum.

Oops I better not say anything more but bleu, this is a good excuse to get some really pretty drawer chests! Later show you what we have shortlisted on TB!
Ya, actually I think chest of drawers would be nice too! Can use like a sideboard as well.
-
How big is yours again? Ours is more or less going to be 6ft for 2 persons and somemore we are not skinny folks!
Ours is 5.5 ft only! There were two existing built in wardrobe in mbr but we hacked it away to create more space, cos the room is quite small in the first place.
