I don't think I have it. Probably next weekend when I dropped by again, I will take a shot for ya. Yes, we will build cabinets from the storage heater area to the edge near the corridor, this is the place where we will have our fridge, oven, microwave, etc. Yupe, the layout is the reason why we chose this flat Thanks, I agree that the cement effect wall is very nice. That's my wife's idea btw hahaha.. At the beginning I am a bit sceptical about it, but it turns out it is very nice. This is at Punggol btw.

Here is our master bedroom. We are waiting for the carpenter to assemble the bed frame and wardrobe next week. So now, it's still pretty empty. Seen from the window side.

Our common bathroom: Guest bedroom. Nothing fancy here, we leave it blank for now haha. My studyroom. Again, nothing fancy, I will only have study table, drybox and probably will pick up some cupboards from Journey East later on.

Kitchen + Dining space, our dining table will be placed in front of the household shelter (which is now covered with burmese teak ) Our livingroom, seen from kitchen: Our livingroom, seen from the corridor, to the left is the entrance to our common bathroom, we relocated the bathroom door from kitchen to the corridor to allocate space for our cabinets hehe.

I've been really busy lately with office works and weddings, and didn't have much time to monitor the progress of my renovation (my wife is the one monitoring haha). I am getting the dining table from Ethnicraft. Visited their showroom and quite impressed with the quality. Price-wise, not the cheapest, but still cheaper than Journey East haha.. @mrmerry, yeahh, wheeled dining table is rather too rough/adventurous. I scrapped the idea, but I am probably getting a wheeled tv console though

Hi WhiteCookie, Can you help to snap picture of your tv console in your livingroom? I would like to get the similar tv console (this is cheaper than the tubeline version), but my wife is not convinced it will look good on our house. Since your house has roughly similar theme as mine. I thought it will be a good idea to see how the tv console looks like at your place Many thanks

Today I managed to drop by Journey East to check out the furniture that they have. I immediately fall in love with this table. But wifey thinks that it is too rough/industrial look My 2nd option will be this one: It looks similar to this one that is shown in Home and Decor website: Either of these will make me happy haha, but they surely cost a bomb lol. Need to work out the budget carefully.

But it costs like SGD 999 at courts hmm.. And my hands itchy, go and check at amazon, with delivery fee and GST added, it only comes up to SGD 604. Is it advisable to buy vacuum cleaner from amazon? The saving is around 40% though. 2. Curtain. I will have a guy from the curtain boutique to give me quotation this Sunday. Dunno how much it will turn out to be. 3. LED TV. With 3m distance between my TV and sofa, I am eyeing the LG 55LM8600. Hopefully can get a good deal this coming PC show 4. Herman Miller Aeron. Wohooo.. My dream chair. Still indecisive whether to buy from Hardwarezone Mass Order or from XTRA. Anyone here got any lobang for Herman Miller chair?

I am eyeing the similar fridge albeit smaller. I had tough time convincing the missus to get fisher and paykel fridge though coz the price is higher than those korean brand fridge. But in the end, she agreed to it, YES!

Finally got our keys today. We will do a short praying tomorrow and the renovation should follow afterwards. Exciting time

We bought the very first item for our new house, a queen-size Sandford Lotus mattress from Courts Megastore We tested a few mattresses but none can match the feeling that we got from Lotus mattress, well, Omazz is better, but it costs much more haha. In the end, we settle with Lotus instead.
