Hi all, i was trying to look for a thread at the tblog.. but dont seemed to be able to locate the thread anymore...perhaps it has been deleted... there's was this house that the owner tear down all the walls and make it open concept kitchen/dining/hall etc... the owner who posted in the thread took picture of the progress by "stitching" several photos together to allow us to see the view of the whole house! ... and there were v bold wallpapers used in the bedroom... the owner painted her beams in the house BLACK...and the tv console at the hall is actually an access into ano room area...very special and ***** ..v stunning impression left for me when i viewed the thread...however, i cant recall the ID firm and the ID mentioned by the owner ... and was trying my luck here searching but to no avail.. can any forumers here whom rem whom the owner was.. pm me his/her name ? or if you are the owner... pls pm me the contact for the ID you engage... i am sori to sound so desperate...thanks for looking... my blanco granite sink ...after installation by the plumber..does not look as BLACK and SMooth as the one we seen at the showroom.. even after scrubing off the white cement stain which my contractor DUMP in.. ( ) stil the same.. anyone hv the same prob? any suggestion to retain the "original"look? MTIA

hi cha-alex...its really so?? sob sob..hubby was so freak out that we dec against it...i am gg to ask my ID abt it liao.. do u thk u can PM me your ID? my id quoted one of his project, that the black glossy laminates upon hand over were with defects that the owner COULD not accept it totally and he has to spend extra cost to rectify that... sob sob..it was my ideal dream kitchen...now i'm settled only on matt laminates....sob sob sob.,. thks aspella_matrix, will chk out ikea..

my ID strongly disagree abt me going for glossy cabinet for kitchen!! he mentioned immediately after installation, the moment u removed the protective sheet.. u will see scratches almost everywhere???? this freaks me out and we dec against!! however, i ask him why is it so, he said is SO for glossy laminates???? anyone here hv installed glossy laminates(black e.g) and when your ID hand over, was it like wat my ID had describe to me?? hideously with "white scratches" ??? he said its "inherent" with glossy laminates???? pls feedback, advise? how abt blanco granite sink? is it durable? anyone using it..? sorta bored with my 1st 2 stainless steel sink and was bought over by the sales person at HK to try the blanco.. any feedback? MTIA

tthks brudders and sisters... i v new christian...prior that did FS on our hse...so now don noe whether to do so or not..but some of my cell mate advise against lor.. one more qn..can? ...if the hse after completion was left vacant say for abt 1-2mths before starting renovation work, after completion...do we jus moved in or hv to get pastor to bless the hse before moving in ? or can it be done after moving in? thk u so much for guidiance..

Hi Devilaz, thks for the pm.. thk u for your reply too.. i am sori to clarify as i actualli noe nuts abt aircon, basically read up from the aircon forum and went to AB and GC for quotes...based on the recommended installation requirement.. hence, i don quite understand abt the "amp" thingie..it seemed to me that toshiba sys 4 invertor required flats wif more than 11 amp capabilities to install? as ours is a > 15 yrs old flat, the sales guy said its only 8.5 amp, meaning our flat cant hv the sys 4? can onli install mit sys 4 as it has safety valve to switch off the condenser when it exceed the required amp? also mit sys 4 is onli 28000 BTU in total..whereas the toshiba sys 4 is 34000BTU in total.. so Delivaz, does it mean that i hv to install 11amp aircon for my flat? or 8.5 amp ? sori to ask such "blur blur" qns... thks for your patience...

Hi all.. gotten quotes both from AB and GC at imm for sys4 toshiba invertor.. 1) AB - 3360/- + 150/- for bracket ( installation inlcuded, 1/2'' 23 swg copper pipe, 16mm diameter insulator rubber. class o insulation) 2) GC - 3380/- (installation inlcuded, 3/8'' 23 swg copper pipe, 16mm diameter insulator rubber, class 1 insulation) will appreciate whichever is a better deal and a more reliable dealer? another impt qns as my resale is a 15yr old flat, which according to the salesman at both AB and GC , is 8.5 amp but the requirment for sys4 toshiba is 11amp..so legally is NOT allowed??? the guy at AB said, as long as i don full blast the 4 FCU, i shd be safe, the most power tripped.. however, the guy at GC said i might be asked to dismantle if i "sway sway " kena the inspection by hdb.. any valuable advises? anyone here installed the aircon despite the failing the amp limit? what are the other options? dwgrade to sys 3 can resolve the prob? really prefer the toshiba model.. as the AB salesman actualli said i can opt for mit sys4 will solve the prob as the condenser unit is of lower BTU and there is a safety valve to control the BTU within the limit? kam siah alot to all who can advise....!

Hi all, was looking for aircon for my em.. according to the sales person at GC, he said that resale flat need brackets and hence not allowed to hv 2 compressor.. however, i needed a 3+1 non inverter which is NOT available? he said i can only either go for sys 3 non inverter and go without aircon for the living/dining or take sys4 inverter.. for us, we don on the 3 aircon at the same time, and def not thr the day n night...hence GC suggested non inverter..however, i need aircon for the hall too..like dat how ah? appreciate all advises...
