Dress that i bought wifey for the event. No fanciful wedding gown, something simple that we both want

    Our hotel fruit basket

Our angbao box. Something we did together to do away with the traditional ones. Our reception was humurous to tell people "pls but ur goodwill into the house building fund" :good:

  2. Bear in mind most bridal shops need some time to produce the album for you, if you intend to display it for your dinner/reception, etc.

Looking at 4mths to go, you have to shortlist for a shop, go for photoshoot, wait awhile before selecting pictures, select album artwork, send for printing...... now ttz jux the album.

Other then that, there's alot of other things to see to.

Details of dinner, flow of program sequence, tea ceremony items, etc...

  3. Not much pictures to update.

    Aircon installed already.

Lights, fan, oven, hob, toilet stuff, basin all coming this saturday and sunday will be installing it according to Winson.

Now starting to do living floor tiles and should be completed by this wk, together with painting of the whole unit.

    Let's see how it goes.

    yo it's here: http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15560

well to upload pictures, you'll need to upload the pics on a web base photo website first like photobucket.com, etc.

After which, click the "insert image" icon and past th elink of the picture there.

    Walla~ :yamseng:

  5. A newbie question: 10 hours of service for Actual Day photography - How do you calculate these "10 hrs"?

Cos' most of the time, u would probably need the photographer(s) for the morning ceremony and the evening time.. is it a split of 5 hrs in the morning and 5 hrs in the evening? Or the 10 hrs calculation start from the moment he comes into contact with the couple in the morning?

Cos' some packages seem to suggest that additional hours are charged at X dollars, thus i would like to be clear on this part while looking at the pricings online.

    Thanks!

Usually it's a split. Everything also can be discussed with you PG.

  6. yep been following as Tau is one of the shortlisted IDs. Just a lil skeptical after reading about some nonsense in their thread. Also read about your past ordeal. Am glad that you have finally got your new place and everything goes well.

Do keep this thread updated so I can keep track of how your stuff is going. who knows I might be the 2nd tau renonlog in the future. cheers!

    hehe kudos to you.

tiling should be in progress and ocmpleted by this week.

let's see tmr after work got time go look c anot. :sport-smiley-004:

gosh cant wait to shift in after all the ordeal :good:

  7. nice nice. so how is everything with Tau so far? any comments? what are the good and bads of their service / workmanship?

Hehe how u know with Tau? Been following eh. ;)

In a nutshell, they have been very compromising.

When i just got back home, Winson offered to pick me up to visit my flat and brought me to lighting/toiletries shop to get my stuff from his contacts. I compared and yes, it was cheaper. Designs may not be the most fabulous but it works for me.

Wanted some inclusion along the way and he agreed, although it's kinda "passed" the stage for such construction.

During reno, place was always well kept with rubbish placed nicely in the room n not all over the house. Not much fancy drawings as some may have but sufficient to see my stuff materialize.

Workmanshp wise for screeding/tiling is pretty good in my opinion. Tiles are packed closely. Carpentary cant comment as yet to commence. Only L-box was done up first as i had some concealed wiring to the side wall for my lights.

so far so good, hope it keeps tt way. :yamseng:

    hey,

saw your pix on the ceiling.

is that for your ceiling fan?

    u know which 1 i referring to?

Yes ttz for my fan. The little wire sticking out ya?

Think my wife chose gunmetal color instead of black or white.

I'll leave her to such stuff, am bad at color combination :notti:

  8. Well trouble with colours is we want bright colours and trying to avoid woody, dark colors, hence the dilemma.

So afraid colour will turn out opposite from what we wee from the sample.

We're looking at colours like popcorn, lime twist, etc...

    wow i see

    no wonder

    coordination is a problem

we sticking to standard colours i guess

    dun mind me asking

    how come disappeared for awhile?

    busy overseas?

oh after my wedding i went straight to japan for honeymoon mah :sport-smiley-018:

  9. i bought my LCD at Harvey Norman's Expo sales over the wkends.

  10. hihi jessie..

actually furniture in bkk will be a much better choice...but u gotto know how to ship it back...me & hubby lugged back two AIR DIVISION lookalike barstools during our last trip...and they only cost $300+ for 2. AIR is selling 1 for $400+. everytime me & hubby visit bkk..we'll make it a point to lug back at least 1 furniture pc..hahhaa.

To bring back from BKK, can link up with local freigh forwarders to book a 20ft container.

  11. but the kitchen already very L-O-N-G wo...

Zc's kitchen cabinet total how many ft?

saw the white 'groovy' kitchen wall tile at Taugres too but decided on a 'diamond' design instead

    Errr...kitchen is about 19ft.

Top will not have cabinets. Only 1 full tall unit behind my sink which will be in a L-shape and another tall unit beside the fridge, which technically will only be half unit cox bottom will haf a hole cut out for microwave etc.

Ya saw the diamond too but in the end....wifey loves this so.... :good:

aiya same problem as i am facing la

somemore my reno haven even start yet leh

been busy buying stuff to match the reno

no time to drink vitagen also

    tiles also haven chosen

    :dunno:

Well trouble with colours is we want bright colours and trying to avoid woody, dark colors, hence the dilemma.

So afraid colour will turn out opposite from what we wee from the sample. :bangwall:

We're looking at colours like popcorn, lime twist, etc...

  12. wow just nice when 7 yue ends

    good luck

saw hangars at Daiso which u want

best deal is 6 for 2SGD

not sure if there are cheaper

Thanks man. Ask wife to check it our during lunch time at imm :notti:

Now sitting in my bedroom drinking vitagen and choosing wall colours....headache sia.

u shuld have laid de kitchen tiles horizontally instead of vertically to make ur kitchen look even bigger. dis way of laying only makes de kitchen ceiling looks higher. :(

Well tt did'nt come across my mind :bangwall:
