  1. It's been 4 years since my Reno, so far so good. Workmanship is good and durable. My in-laws engaged united team too and were happy ps: I'm not active here so won't b able to reply any questions.
  2. Does anyone know of a reliable mover that provides hanger boxes or movable hanger racks? i've got a bunch of clothes to transfer to my new house and don't really want to have to re-iron everything again. TIA!!
  3. noticed there hasn't been any comments since 2007. i will highly recommend the female ID from United Team Lifestyle (at thomson plaza). she's very thoughtful and patient. we changed our design so many times but she patiently went thru with us and make recommendations. very very sweet lady thats easy to talk to and surprisingly very adept at working with contractors, etc. i thought reno process is very painful. but turned out to be quite generally hassle free. she coordinates everything and gets her people to touch up, etc without us having to request or push for it. we only check the progress once a week. before choosing united team, i went to several other IDs including chew interiors and most will push for things that we clearly said we didn't want. obviously for profits reason cause those items have high profit margin like false ceilings all over the place with numerous downlights. or deliberately quoting the prices to match your budget (leaving out some things you asked for) then subsequently adding these back to increase profits (we know 'cause a friend engaged this ID in the end). if you are looking for budget, i don't think united team fits the bill (its not the cheapest of the quotes i got but not the pricest). but if you want quality work at minimal hassle at reasonable price, i highly recommend checking united team out.
  4. i cannot help it but post a silly post just to say I AGREE! keke the toilet tiles in MBR are just too freaking ugly
  5. hi your house looks very cozy - who's ur ID?
  6. i'm from the '99 batch and my hubby-to-be is from the '96 batch. both from JJC! our block is 677A. how about you?? i'm still waiting for 1 ID to revert with the quotation. we haven't been really looking very hard. find it quite tiring. don't quite gel with the IDs. i told one ID my budget is $X, he came back with a quotation that is exactly $X but didn't include some of the items i wanted!! very irritating.
  7. jjcian?? are you from jurong jc too?? i have the exact same layout as you! and one of the IDs i approached suggested the exact same place to put the tv console! but was hesitating 'cause i was afraid would make the living room very narrow. from your photos, look pretty good!! is your ID good? how's the workmanship? how much is your total reno? TIA!
  8. nobody has engaged The Line Living before?? I spoke to them at IMM and service seems quite ok but don't know anything about their work
  9. hi may i know how much you spent on your reno? who's your ID? your place looks very nice! i've been to a depot road flat and didn't like the layout but your decor totally made the place looked different!
