Not risk averse but just that after so many years of CPFIS, does not seems to be earning much also. Mayb partly also bcos I lazy, never monitor, just let it be, cannot see the money anyway. So now thinking mayb terminate and redeem my loan. I know what is the definition accrued interest in this context. Just that must I pay back when I redeemed my loan? But a bit wierd also to pay using CPF? Wanted to clear some doubts first before I check with HDB.

Heard from my neighbour a unit in Blk 90 was broken into this afternoon, some electrical applicances were stolen.

Thought of cancelling our CPFIS and redeeming our HDB loan with the CPF monies. Read thru what's wriiten on the HDB website, procedures seems simple. Some say housing loan (especially HDB loan) should be the last loan to pay off but I thought if can clear fully, then no need to pay the additional interest. 2. Will using CPF to redeem the mortgage loan accumulate accrued interest also? Cos when we take the HDB loan, accrued interest starts counting. Tried to find out abt this accrued interest thing but not much info. Only know that when selling in resale market, got to pay this accrued interest back to CPF a/c. Right? Not sure if above questions are valid or is there anything else that I should look out for?

Yes, it is custom made but not mounted on the wall. The whole piece is a TV console/feature wall, made of wood, covered with wallpaper.

I feel that reno debris is more of an exception. Maybe now that most units have completed the reno, the workers are taking the easy way out and waiting for the debris to accumulate before clearing them at one go. We are going to be staying here and we should do our part and not create more rubbish for the cleaners to clear. It is not easy to clean and maintain the cleanliness in a 40th storey building if the occupants are not taking some presonal responsibility as well.

Noticed recently that some residents like to leave their bulky refuse in the lift, help to move them to the rubbish bin a few times. Dun understand how can people be so lazy and inconsiderate.

Nice design but feel that this is more suited for guest room and not daily usage. A bit leh cheh to "transform" every day. Sooner or later, may just remain a bed or sofa full time.

A friend has one. Initially look nice, after a while algae start to grow, have to scrub and scrub. Furthermore electricity tariff just up by 5%, i think the money can be better spend at other items.
