I just opened a cpf investment a/c y'day. They told me nit 1 week to process but tis Fri hdb oredi wipe out.. but of coz me dun have much cpf. hehe.. But think mayb ask my hubby to pay the instalment first for afew months, let me increase my cpf for investment. Eh i think if get aircon thru ID got extra charge one rite? coz have to pay their commission.

Princess, I was just lookin thru the docs dat HDB sent. The amount dat I nit to pay for lease stamp, conveyancing, regn, mortgage stamp, survey fees is about close to $6k. Can pay by CPF or Cash. Then, apart fr the min 10% dp and above fees, oso have to pay 1st instalment, cash or cpf and 3 months s&c of about $230 by cash. The other portion is prob the insurance but i think this is quite cheap, less than $10 according to my hubby. This is based on my purchase price but I guess yrs oso shd be around there.. hope this helps.

Same situation as u.. My hubby oso doin nothing much. I was the one finding out about almost everything so far.. I was the one reading up on the IDs and arranging for appointment, buying n flipping thru mags for ideas, search for invitation card, photographer, flowers, even doing up the budget for our wedding, house n honeymoon.. Been complaining to my frens.. hehe.. then they suggest to assign him some things to do but he will say "Ok, ok" but after awhile he will forget abt it. Then the task still not done! Might as well I do it.. if depend on him, think the wedding will a disaster in the making.. Back to reno.. so far i went to 5 IDs.. we haven't decided yet, waiting for some of their quotes but we have 1 or 2 which created a good impression. By the way, anyone goin to hack the MBR + study wall and position the bed at the original study rm area? Some IDs suggested dat but was thinking, in terms of FS, toilet is behind the bed, is it OK?

I'm back! Photo-shoot went well I guess.. Wow! Top up $5k! That's alot.. I'm oso abit worried i'll end up paying more than double the package price but at least it is in RM. Oops. Made a mistake. I meant to say most of my relatives r in Msia, not Sg. Hei.. can places like Courts, Best Denki keep the purchased items for few months?

Hehe.. i'm actually a Malaccan Nyonya.. my hubby is fr Mauritius but oredi a Sg Citizen. Me stil PR.. So, we having our wedding all in M'cca. Makes more sense coz most of my relatives r in Sg, altho some r in Sg.. plus, alot cheaper too!! I'm using Bridal Palace in M'cca.. got attracted by their outdoor shots at this nearby island off M'cca. I prefer outdoor shots. But unfortunately, their gowns r abit lacking, which I found out last weekend. Sigh.. so now, i have to spend more $$ to tailor my main gown but of coz also in RM... hahaha... Lots of work to do.. now, house on hold till next week..

Hi hi.. I thought i read somewhere that the main door looking in, shdn't have anything blocking the way ie must open up to big space. But i oso heard that if door facing the window, $$ in $$ out.. 2 contradicting remarks.. how to balance har? Me oso gonna be broke by year end. All within this year : Solemnization, banquet, photo shoot, reno, furniture, honeymoon... I oso emailed my officer but no reply yet.. call him oso dint pick up.. I emailed my HDB officer on Monday.. no reply yet. Me n hubby have been abit lazy, he oso been working late these few weeks.. have not been doin much recce-ing on all the other stuffs like lighting n toilet.. Seems like alot more things to do but think i better settle my ID first. Then i guess the rest will come after we finalise wat we gonna do.. sure headache to decide which ones to buy.. aircon oredi a big headache.. inverter or non-inverter, system 3 or 4, etc..

I haven't decided on my aircon. Living/dining nit to have 2 aircon? Alberttcs, u stay near smbwang? seems like u drop by very often.. hehe... 33+ if not mistaken they painted the exterior some time back.. Changing toilet bowls oso? r those provided by hdb good? my hubby want to change all toilet bowls coz dun quite trust hdb's... wat u guys think?

Hi hi..me oso bought smbwang blk 339A. Went there last weekend to check out my place.. was locked but saw from outside that its all cemented, seems like just started. Sweat! Its been 2 months + oredi.. no notice there oso... why why? Candy princess, lucky u got such a nice HDB officer. Mine, no news at all.. boo hoo hoo... nit to call them again to rush rush.. Me still in the midst of finding ID. Got quotation from 2 oredi, so prob get 2 more, then decide.. Mean while, bought sofa set, tv console and LCD TV... hehehe.. just can't wait to get my keys!!

Ya.. my fren oso told me can get earlier but nit to chase them again n again.. i bought block 339A.. our HLE oso expiring ard the same time but hdb said dunit to reapply if we dun get keys by then.. we abit kancheong bcoz our rental lease ending end Oct (for him) and end Nov (for me).. plus, our wedding is in Dec, so his family (fr overseas) will be in Sg.. so hoping hse wud be ready so dat they can stay over.. ya.. prob will try to buy some of the std items first b4 the GST hike.. oso sourcing for IDs soon.. sweat! so many things goin on this yr..
