Yup.. all Ceramic but the floor tiles quite nice, shiny.. initially we thot it was homogeneous. Because the flat has been vacant for abt 6 yrs.. so HDB retiling and some other rectification work b4 handing over to buyers.. Bert... how ? Got any news fr yr officer or anybody on why yr neighbour can get the hse earlier?

For System3 non inverter, prices seem abit steep. I bought mine Mitsubishi system 3 non inverter at abt $1.7k.. how come the toshiba one cheaper than ME coz usually ME is the most exp..

Candyprincess, congrats on getting your keys!! I'm $2k poorer today... Went shopping for lights with our ID and spent about 2hrs+ at just one shop to pick out the lights.. We've also picked out the laminates for the carpentry y'day.. things goin pretty fast suddenly.. Next week, we r goin to see the 3D drawings.. can't wait but $$ oso goin out pretty fast. hahaha..

I've just submitted my defects.. hopefully Mr Seah can do fast fast.. my main concern is the MBR vanity top and the room doors.. coz if they do fast, then ID oso can't do the vanity cabinet and paint the doors... Keep my fingers crossed..

Don't think our plc got such lines. I mean there are some vertical lines but not afew in a str8 row like dat and no horizontal lines... Went to submit our defects list today and activated our PUB. Oh ya.. check yr doors as well. Mine, the bottom part of the doors, abit peeling and the lock is fixed in terribly, like they just shove it in, got cracks n not aligned with the door..

Spooky... why only HDB flats leh?

I just paid a deposit for my aircon but we are still considering whether to take the LG ($1520) or Mitsubishi System 3 non-inverter ($1830).. I heard dat ME is quieter but salesman said its becoz of the fan speed. But fan speed slower means the condenser unit doesn't cool down so much.. He actually recommended LG coz the EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) is higher and provides higher BTU at 25k. (Recommended by NEA) ME is very popular but is it becoz of the brand or is it really very good? Initially we oso wanted to go for ME but now not sure.. Anyone can advise? LG or ME?

Thot of asking my ID to do one more check b4 we submit. Or at least discuss with him first. We dun really know how to check the tiles.. I'm hoping he can do a check for me.. hehe.. which he did say "no problem".. tomolo meeting him, so will see how it goes..

That is wat they always say.. my HDB office oso said, for safety reasons, they can't promise to release the keys earlier... Then he even told us dat we've signed to agree dat it'll be 6mths Why not u tell him, u nit yr flat soon and give him a very good reason. Ask him to help expedite?

If not mistaken, HDB always put 3 months for collection of keys. Usually can get abit earlier.. If u want it urgently, can try calling yr office in charge to rush rush. But have to be very patient hor coz can hardly get them. I suggest u call n email oso.. When we booked ours in Apr, they told us 6 mths, worst! But we got it within abt 3 mths+
