    I have the exact same layout as you~ just the beginning of my renovation. can share pictures of your bathroom. i am combining 2 toilet into 1. but is worried about the size.

    and can share also the price of laundry pulley system?

    i did not renovate my bathroom. reason being that the bathroom/toilet was upgraded few months before taking over this flat unit under the HDB's Home Improvement Program (HIP).

    anyway, best wishes on your renovation.

    I think the company got problems with their supplier. not sure when they will resolved the problem. i was also very angry and scolded the salesperson. good thing that i managed to get full refund and bought a sofa from another company.

    ****! My Sanzioi sofa also tio delay!! Suppose to deliver on the 7/4, but after delay 3 weeks with no confirm date, I call up again. And now they say delay till 3rd week of May! :curse::curse:

    i also was a victim as a customer of Sanzio. i confirmed my order and patiently waited for 5 weeks for Sanzio sofa but on the date of delivery, they didn't call. And i had to call them, and they say they forgot to load the order to the factory. they say they will try their best to deliver in another 5 weeks. but that is too long. a total of 10 weeks (3months), so i demanded a full refund which i've gotten only after 1.5 weeks and i order sofa from some other shops. hearing your case, i suspect that they are having problems with their or their out-sourced factory (maybe their supplier stopped supplying to them), and i'm glad i made the correct choice of having a full refund. Hope yours does come and it is of the same quality/design as the one you ordered weeks ago. Best that you call them every day to check status.


    2. Sofa - from Sanzio. We went to confirm the colour of the leather end of March (towards the end of the reno) so that we could better decide on the colour. The sales person said it'll take about 3-4 weeks for production & so delivery date she gave us was 12-Apr & nearer to date someone will contact us again. Pretty standard. But early April, I wondered why hasn't anyone called to confirm the delivery etc. so I called to enquire. And I'm glad I did. After many transfer of calls, a lady from their logistics told us the earliest they can deliver is 30-Apr AND they'll try their best. WHAT??!!! They explained they can't do anything as leather is not in....blah....SO THEN what were they doing from the period we confirmed the colour with the salesperson till my call??!! Don't tell me they did nothing??!! Now we can only cross fingers as we plan to officially move in on 2-May :bangwall:. But I ain't going to just sit and wait. So off we went to IKEA to get the sofa-bed since we already intend to have on in one of the bedroom just in case we've got guest staying over. Hah we plan to just use it as sofa in the living room meantime. AND their delivery is within 3 days - EFFICIENT :lol: I think IKEA's management is really :thumbs up:.

    Sanzio called to say they can only send the cheque next tues. adding more delays and misery...

    the salesperson, Johnny even got the cheek to say that since i will be getting full refund, then there's no need for a formal apology letter. And i scolded him. how about the 5 weeks time wasting wait that i had ? the unpleasant experience? i didn't even ask to be compensated for the 5 weeks wait and the misery caused. :curse::angry2::fire: i want a formal apology letter with the company letterhead send to me and not via email!

    woah, the toa payoh shop has so many clocks, and the price seem to be cheaper than elsewhere. Hoseiki is a good japanese brand, has been around for many years.

    Wall clocks are up

    I bought 4 wall clocks of the same design. It is a simple black rimmed, white-face clock with black numbers. Its brand is Hoseiki, which I have not heard of and costs $19 each.

    Where I bought

    I bought the clocks at a tiny shop at Toa Payoh Central. This shop also sells a wide range of Seiko, Rhythm and Casio wall clocks for about $25 to $35.

    Hi Ning Ning,

    ADVICE: please make sure that once you confirm the delivery date for the Sanzio sofa, please call the office to double-confirm that your order is indeed loaded and informed to the factory. I didn't and after waiting for 4-5 weeks, they say the salesman forgot to load the order, and have to wait for another 4-5 weeks. so total 8-10 weeks!


    I saw a few that were so so.... but one in particular caught my eye. Half italian leather, L shaped and recliner (motor somemore!) and all within our 2k budget! heehee.. customization is free also. yay!! :dribble: everything my hubby wanted!

    But, i have been known for making mistakes with impulse buy. So yesterday, v day, i dragged my parents to go with us to QC the sofa and see if its good. (also to acc them since my sisters are not around).

    They LOVED IT! so at the last minute (they were actually closed liao) I paid the deposit. So qiao, the manager who assisted me the first time and yesterday had the same name as my id, Johnny! haha.. he even taught me a few things on how to see fake and real leather, or if the leather is bonded with PVC. Pretty useful I'll say. i used this knowledge to test out other brands of sofa and realized that its true! real full leather when pressed have wrinkles, leather with pvc wont. and another test is smell test. leather smell stays on for at least 3 yrs. if the item has no smell, its not full leather.

    How some companies charge lower price for their leather sofa is by slicing the leather in half and bond them with pvc. (i dont say cheat la hor. end of the day really is still leather. but how many % no one say de la).

    Anyway, this is th sofa we picked.

    called them today. And they say that their salesman made a mistake and forgot to load the order to the factory. so have to wait for another 4-5 more weeks. in the meantime, they offer to loan me a sofa or a full refund. i demanded a letter of apology as i confirmed my order on 23 Feb 2014. so from 23 Feb to 17 May 2014 is about 3 months. now i'm contemplating whether to do a full refund or wait for another 4-5 more weeks. any advise?

    Beside Ikea and V.hive, anyone knows where can look for those L-shape study table?

    Seems like nowsaday furniture shops dun really showcase study table? Or am I wrong cause I seldom see them.

    Hi kstoh,

    Are the nurseries near Tanah Merah MRT better than the one along Bedok South Road?

    If you guys are just buying small plants and pots, the best prices are from Ikea.

    If you want more selection, then good selection at reasonable prices can be gotten from any of the nurseries nearby. I like those along Bedok South Road.

    If you want the cheapest prices, then you need to go to those faraway nurseries in Lim Chu Kang e.g Jalan Lekar.

    Yes, that's the shop (3D Trading). They do not keep stock. So they selling those on display. its like almost half the price than the shops at Tanjong Katong Complex.

    Here is the place where i purchase the clock :

    #01-95, The Bencoolen. It was a lucky find. When i went in, those clocks were not there but they sell alot of Seiko and Rhythm Clocks

    Look around at the area, there are other clocks shops in the building too.

    Alpha 18i instant shower heater is so far so good. No complains. Have bathed with it for 3 nights since moving in. The knob to adjust the water temp I find it's a bit flimsy. No resistant at all to turn the knob.

    It's cheaper than 707 protek. Saw in the forum that 707 Princeton's shower head is not good.

    Noted. Will do so once I moved in. I'm still shifting my stuffs so haven't move in yet

    Let me know the verdicr of the instant water heater! I am looking at 707 water heater now.
