Went to take a look at my unit today to check if all the toilet accessories are installed. Was initially happy on seeing the 'goodies' that we purchased were installed accordingly to what we have marked out and discussed with the PM but was pissed off when i saw my tower hanger at MBR toilet was installed not to our marking Immediately whatapps my PM and ID on the issue and request to have this fixed without seeing any patches on my wall tiles! Mirror at the Living room was replaced with the brown tint that my ID had initially designed. All the carpentry are installed in the house this week and have been doing spot checking today. Noticed quite alot of chips and roughness which were highlighted. The supervisor explained that most of these are due to transportation and they will fix the issue asap. I am left with installation of all the accessories, few lightings and touch up to end this blog soon... Will be meeting up curtain installer this coming monday to take measurement and to pop over to PD door office hopefully end of the month to check out door for the kitchen entrance. Had a hunch that mirror is installed today and decided to pop over after work. Indeed, the mirror at the living room is up! the granite are laid as well on the kitchen cabinet. However, the tap for my kitchen basin was installed wrongly. The design is unique, i believe plumber might be confused with where the valve control should be facing... Went over to my unit yesterday to drop some stuff and check up on the progress. The wardrobe doors are installed, tv feature wall @ MBR are up too. Estimate to complete all the stuff by end of may! $1600 for the grilles and $550 for the windows at service yard. The price is for standard aluminum colored but ID upgrade the grille for me.

some people do, for me I want unity for my visual. If hdb keep to having toilet inside the kitchen, I will opt for a difference.

I opt out from hdb too. Got my own doors . Glass door for my mbr toilet but same wooden door for common toilet

actually all the houses are designed the same. The heater switch outside the toilet is a good indicator that behind this door is toilet. unless the visitors are private property dwellers or elderly who does not know hdb setup.

Carpentry came in today! decided to pop over to check out the stuff and surprised workers are still working! Quite amazed on the among of work done. Washing basin at common toilet is removed and the vanity is installed. The top mirror cabinet and vanity cabinet @ MBR toilet is up too. Structure for the kitchen is done too and the walk in wardrobe at MBR. there's plenty of stuff packed in the house, which i expect to be completed by this Saturday . Oh ya, the lights at bombshelter, kitchen, service yard and MBR toilet are installed too. Didn't manage to capture alot of picture as the carpenters are finishing up minor work before calling it a day. yes, i did the wooden door for common toilet but i did a segregation between wet and dry area. Hope it will help to prevent the door from decaying and disintegration. BTW, my door frame is metal from HDB, not the wooden frame type you mentioned. Am installing glass door for the MBR toilet though.
