OnePostWonder I received letter from HDB Loan Dept asking me and hubby to send in our 3 consecutive months payslips to renew my HLE today. Last day for our submission is on 23 November 2007. Guess will collect keys in December. Have you receive the letter?

Hi yun11 You are definitely not the only one... I hope to delay till April next year However, it may be difficult coz think must have valid reason then can delay de. Wonder what kind of reasons then consider valid

So when is your BIG day??? Think most of us from BLK 26D will be super busy next year, monitoring house renov and deco, planning for wedding and shifting from current place to JM. What an exciting 2008. Hi Dorcas I am confused too. Haiz...

Oh... if that's the case... better start do reno when you have the time to supervise else later pay yet don't get what you want or got defects but no time to check... Can i pop by your place when you start renovating???

I share the same sentiments as you... Am thinking since will not be shifting in so soon then why pay the monthly conservancy charges of about $50 per month (which may amount to about $300 till the time I start renovating) yet did not make use to the service or amenities??? If renovate the house so early then leave it empty, there will be a lot of cleaning to take care of as surrounding will be dusty since some blocks are still undergoing construction and neighbours will be renovating too. Adding to that, I hope to get good furniture and appliances deals during the 2008 Great Singapore sale.

Guess we have to wait patiently... the customer service manager in charge of my application told me to wait till collect keys then re-apply HLE . Asked her if it is possible to extend... she said NO impatiently (perhaps she is busy lah) and now I am confused as to what to do liao... since she is the one in charge and she said cannot extend... guess I will have to wait patiently for their letter to collect keys. In fact I hope to delay keys collection till april next year, wonder if it is possible.

I agree with nemofc that credit dept cannot extend HLE for us and hence the Credit dept officer got me to contact the customer service manager in charge of my application and was informed by her that there is a need to re-apply HLE if it expires before keys collection. PS: Neighbours out there, you can get your respective customer service manager's contact from my HDBpage under application detail (scroll all the way down under contact us). It is definitely the safest and most assuring to call and double confirm especially for those whose HLE gonna expires soon coz it seems that different officers / managers give different instructions.

Hi future neighbours out there whose HLE expires before collection of keys Spoken to the HDB officer in charge of my flat application She mentioned that HLE applied was to ensure that applicant are eligible for housing loan when Signing of lease agreement and should it expires before keys collection, there is no need to act as yet till collection of keys. When it is time to collect keys, they will need us to reapply as they need to re-assess our eligibility hence for those whose key collection date are much later (in a few weeks time) there is no need to extend the expired HLE. Got to reapply again. I have this feeling that keys collection for Blk 26D will NOT be anytime soon else officer can actually extend my HLE instead of asking me to wait and re-apply.

Hi Binzz and Kreigs Me more sianz... HLE expiring tmr... Though I am not in a hurry to shift in or do reno I find it a hassle to reapply or to re-submit document.
