Hi moonbell, I've met up with FuxxCxxx too. They are the one who I've asked them to requote and redesign a few times. In fact FC is very responsive and pricing is ok. Somehow the connection is not there yet. Yes, I need a very big wardrobe cos I will keep on buying clothes. I also intend to standardise all my clothes hangers..any good buy on clothes hangers. If you want a big vanity top, you will have to change the door opening. which means $. Otherwise, it will just be 3ft.

Hi all, How's your holiday? Yesterday, we have purchased celini bedframe at 20% discount. As we have eyed it for very long, we decided to grab it first. I also went to see our flats and sad to say our blk 26B are still blocked. From outside, we can see that the painting and windows are not done up. Hope the contractor there can hurry up. So we went into Blk 25A and saw some contractors doing some of the units. Went to 5 room and find the shape very different. I love our gate. Very nice. If you went to Jurong showunits, you can see the difference. So much better. Overall, I am very contented with the interior of our 4 room flat. I had also signed with De Workz y'day. I couldn't tell you much abt our pricing. But I can tell you we did not amend much on their design and was very impressed with it. Surprisingly my hubby only briefly told him abt our concept during a gathering. As for other IDs, we have asked them to redesign and requote again and again. So we are very happy to get this ID. Do pm me if you are interested. For those who are searching for IDs, other than pricing, it's the connection that you should be looking out for too. Happy searching!

I am so happy cos HDB has finally notified us to sign the Agreement on 21 Aug! A step nearer to it. Do you all think I can go and see any of the units tomorrow? Will it be open on National Day?
-

Hi Green, I agreed with nemofc too. You will gradually keep yourself to your bedroom. Even when I stayed w my own parents, I also watched tv inside my bedroom. So come to think of it, you might want a totally different kind of life after marriage. So what's the pt when it goes back to sq one and even worse? Sorry when I might have voiced out alot cos I've been thru it! So really can't stand anyone going thru the same phrase as me. nemofc, Are your standalone top cabinet at a side? Like what xlan said, you do have to carefully think of storage space. Unless you really seldom cook, then why not for that kind of concept? Save $ too. Btw, how many of you have gone to meet ID and get their proposal?

My kitchen cabinet will be one long stretch (top & bottom). That means my fridge, washer and dryer will all be beside the window. The window hanger on the wall will have to be hacked. No matter how we try to compact, we still hv to remove the winder hanger. We did think of L-shape which the washer will be behind the basin. The fridge will remain at near the door. Somehow this kind of concept, your kitchen will be more packed.

Hi Green Tranquility, Sorry that I've left out on your PIL as the occupiers. My mum once told me this 'No matter how good your PIL is, it will still be very difficult to stay tog'. I truly agreed after I've been thru it. I think you should also heard of one house cannot have 2 women, somemore yours are 3 women. I agreed with the rest too. Give up the unit for now and save the rest of your life.
-
Hi Green Tranquility, I empathise on your situation. In fact, it's not easy to stay with Parents-In-Law. Adding to your situation, you got another sis-in-law to increase your burden. Thou now you may be able to get along well with PIL, they will still expect you to act like a daughter-in-law after marriage. You know not only your household chores, probably all the house expenses will be under both of you, COS IT's YOUR HOUSE! You must prepare for it if you are going to stay with them. Based on your feeling and situation now, I would truly advise you to stay with your hubby alone first. You may not be able to cope with all of them. If you can't cope, you will be very stressful and end up no where. Your hubby and you can't shift to a new pl cos it's your home. And you can't possibly tell them to move out too by that time. So think carefully. Probably after a few yrs down the road, then you can consider bringing over his parents. Things may have change for his sis then.

Hi Xlan, It's very sleek cleancut for Sunshine's theme. What is your theme then? Tot of it? I can't wait to meet them tonight to get their proposal. I hope everything goes well with the FC too. Anyway, talk to the sales guy a few times..so sld be quite safe so far.
-
Hi Xlan, Remember me? Finally I've went to Home Guide and I'm getting their proposal today. Hoping very high for tt. I saw their showroom is really v nice. Just what I want for my theme. I am surprised that you bought the furniture club package too. I did too. How much is your package? I felt abit regret and hoping to let go of tt package cos I love OM sofa v much. And I see tt most of the sofa is quite large for our living room.

Congrats to you, loobhinda! Hv you signed the agreement? I wonder when is our turn for Blk 26B.
-
Hi Sharon, Can you give a rough quote on curtain for a 4 room flat?
-
Hi, I'm new here. I will be in Blk 26B. BLK 25A - redbottle - loobhlinda - pert BLK 25B - Linggie & KhooK - Green BLK 26A - BLK 26B - dunkmycar - noellechua - lynnnie - dorcas BLK 26C - elaine1205 - ZLia BLK 26D - OnePostWonder - Princess Momo - rommie - binzz - kriegs - wonsen - Velynn BLK 27A - xlan - nemofc - bchew - Yang Guo - Seafaith - chaq - Jasch - glaminn BLK 27B - Btw, I was shocked to read that we still require to provide the HLE again upon collection of keys if it expires. How could tt be? Once we signed the agreement, 5% will be wiped off from our cpf, isn't it? So it sld be a confirmed case. What if someone really fails their HLE at tt time, does tt mean HDB going to refund the 5% back to his/her account?
