  1. Hi We had a good experience with Benedict as well. Don't expect things to be smooth all the way for renovations, there were the usual small glitches but we are generally quite pleased with the service offered by Ben. Without us having to mention, he will not hard sell, which is an important thing... i guess i dun have to say much abt the workmanship, since there's already so much compliments on them.. for those with a reasonable budget, i believe the IDs here are able to give you a decent proposal.. To conclude, we LOVE our home!
  2. Anyone been to BKK recently to buy any stuffs? Care to share where u go and any good place for bargain?
  3. i pay $300 to change the kitchen water pipe to stainless steel. My parents advise me to do so as they say that PVC joint will grow mouldy after a few yrs. Cause if the pipings are inside the cabinets, once it start to leak, den will have to tear down the cabinet to change it.
  4. i got the same experience also. My laminate flooring kind of sink in when i step on it, and it is very obvious cause the screening was not done properly. What my ID do is, he remove the portion where it is affected, and on my part, i ask HDB to redo the screening.
  5. Does anyone have any experience with them? How are their furniture?
  6. i got another thing to add abt EI. So far i have gone up to my flat abt 3 times, and everytime i see their workers doing their own stuff quietly and efficiently, no wonder so fast. And the best thing is, my ID actually pasted a paper outside, asking them not to smoke inside and clear their debris after work. Even if they do it, at least i dun see it, so everytime i go up, no smelly smoke and no unsightly stuff at the toilet bowl!!
  7. Hi Air, This is thanks to yr recommendations. A total of $1800, living and master day night curtain, rm2 & rm3 roman curtain, 1 extra night curtain and 1 string curtain. They have quite a nice selection, and i would consider the price to be acceptable. They say that they participate in the furniture mall promotions, therefore the prices are lower. Hi Jule, I think it is not too nice to change ID within the same firm.
  8. My reno has juz started... I muz say they do things quite fast and are sticking closely to the schedule. Benedict had also bring us to buy our lightings and sanitary. I went to ART LIVING for my curtains too. They quote me $1800 which i think is reasonable with a mix of day night curtains and roman blinds.
