Hi Prodigic, Can share what is the con you are refering to? i am also a bit in doubt of teh curtain.. so we are taking a risk to consider that.. but sinc we haven started our reno yet so still have the chance to to change our ideas lar.. hehe Thanks in advance! Wat i heard was that glossy finishes will tend to look a bit wavy but definately looks nicer to me lar.. so if u can accept it then it will be fine ba... some of the drawings that we more or less confirmed... just need a bit more slight changes.. Foyer area.. We are using curtain to cover the bomb shelter door instead of feature wall.. hope this will save us a bit of cost.. Kitchen.. but we are not overlaying the floor lar.. thou the dark floor tiles makes a better contrast to the kitchen cabinets but no more $$$$$ to overlay!

We tot of doing up feature wall in the beginning also.. but we are afraid of the space constraint and cost incurred... so int the end my iD suggest curtain instaed of feature wall.. The cost for curtain we not too sure yet cos we haven source for it.. but sld be cheaper than feature wall ba... I will try to post up the drawings of teh foyer cum bomb shelter... hopw the final product will looks good...

Wilbertforce your 3D drawing very nice leh!! i like your masterbedroom! mine is at Blk 27A Jalan membina.. also 85sqm.. but y urs seems bigger than ours.. maybe its the layout?? hope you will post more pics of reno!! !!

no choice leh... house tend to get more dusty when no one is staying there leh... but maybe not every week lar... maybe once every 2 weeks.. heheh lazy also... yah.. will only move in after our wedding which is in early dec next year... so wanted to settle the reno in fisrt half of the year then can concentrate on the wedding on the second half of the year mah

i agree also.. cos now my bf house living no aircon.. so sometimes when a lot of our friends went up to watch soccer it could get quiet warm... so that will be the time when aircon comes handy

thanks thanks! We are still making adjustments to some of the design.. if time permits we sld be starting tiling work in Jan but carpentary will only start after CNY.. Saw your reno pics.. your house very nice!! !! the concept is so different from others.. keke hope mine will turn out to be ok too..

i am thinking of doing up my ceiling and floor tiles first before CNY.. that is y i faster go submit my defect list lor.. if not tink i will still drag lor.. imagine i got my keys in oct leh.. i now then submit..hehe !! My Id quoted us for tiles >$3Psf lar... but we already told her a bit more she must absorb for us and she verbally say ok le... hehe tink living tiles sld be ok.. for bedroom one we are thinking of doing thoses homo tiles that looks like laminates.. but dun koe will be nice a not hihi collegebookstore, i dun koe leh... its my bf that likes to rear fish... and he will be the one maintaining so its hos choice... i will only admire the fishes... Btw are you one of our fellow neighbours in jalam membina too?

Finally we submitted our defect list yesterday!!.. had dragged for soo long... hope they can do up the defects for us asap... Will be gg to choose our tiles on sat.. hope we can find something we like.. Btw is any of ur hacking the wall between MBR and bedroom 2? need PE to endorse?
