Hi All, My house is in a mess now! 'Jian bu de ren' ... Boxes and boxes everywhere and I can't unpack my clothes cos there is still rectification works going on this Wed and Thurs. They need to re-sand and polish my parquet in my bedrooms... and also hack and relay some cut leg tiles... Other than these, I'm very satisfied with the carpentry work. Give me another week and I'll try to clear my barang barang and invite you all to view when the house is more presentable... Congrats to all those who are married! Just came back from my afternoon check on the progress of my carpentry, found out that 1 of my duo purpose sliding door is so big that it can't fit into the lift. My carpenter has to hire those bangla workers to help carry it up 30+ storeys! They tried to carry it up earlier with 3-4 people but they only manage to reach 3rd storey. Too heavy and the turning is very tricky and siong. They said they will try again later tonight around 8-9 when they have more people to help bring it up... which also means more money for my carpenter to pay I'm just glad I'm not the one carrying it up!

Wah so many of you using Castle lock... Is it really that good? How is it compared to Abloy, Yale or Duro? Going to buy a lock soon so must decide on which one to get...

Hi! Want to ask a question regarding Window grills. How many of you did window grills that are fixed as in cannot open non sliding type and how many did sliding window grills? The reason is if I were to make the window grills that can slide, because of the tracks, the whole window grill will protrude out by quite a bit and makes the whole window look so ugly. I've seen some of your grills but can't remember who. Some are thin and nice but at that point in time, I didn't check whether was it fixed type or sliding type. I remember Alister's was quite nice but not sure whether is it fixed or sliding?

Just an update, my aircon guy manage to install the toshiba inverter system 4 for me They transfered the compressor to the aircon ledge through the kitchen window by removing them After that, then they put back the windows.

Well, when it comes to water, Hyflux are the experts. My friend bought the eLife and is currently using it. He said he does feel more energize and he goes to the toilet more often, maybe because his body absorbs the water more readily i think... If you look at the hyflux website, they even have something for the shower called eLife shower filter. You connect this thing to your shower and it filters off the chlorine. Suppose to protect your skin, hair and lungs from toxic vapors that can cause irritation and illness. Dunno how true...

On the topic of water purifier, I'm going to get Hyflux's eLife. It filters and breaks down the water into smaller molecules for better absorption into our body.
