  3. so normally we use the main door rite? but what if the flat has lots of windows and the door is at one side while majority of the flat is overlooking another direction? btw i was looking at a flat, frm centre of house the main door is facing SW direction.. this from the kua is not good.. does it mean that chance of this house being suitable for me is low? thx

  6. the side of the window where 2 pieces will meet when closed.. somehow it is using screw.. btw it seems can DIY is it? where to buy the rivet and get the tool to rivet on since labour exp? but will this fail the HDB inspection? thx
  7. can anyone advise how to whiten the grouting for a resale flat? can DIY with any detergent? or is it better to do a layer of grouting with the white cement? thanks.
  8. there is the regulation that all home owners must change their rivets to SS ones to prevent rust and leading to the fall of the window down.. i've seen a resale flat and the owners have changed the rivets to SS screws... is it ok with this? or need to change to SS rivets? i know the cost of the rivets isquite a sum.. will the HDB inspection look into all this? thanks.
  9. if the resale flat i'm getting is say 6yrs ago renovated.. but owner seldom at home.. so the aircon look pretty underused.. based on this, shld i change a new set for the aircon or just get the aircon compnay to service will do.. or they can help survey see if aircon will still last long.. can do trade in of aircon? thanks.

  14. is it generally ok to just buy a place you like.. then later consult FS master on what things to balance the elements/bazi etc.. assuming that you can correct the bad FS.. or there are some guidelines to look out for, like house/kitchen facing etc b4 committing, no clash with your bazi facing.? thanks for advice

  16. i am currently looking around for resale flats thru the ads on papers/internet.. but i just came across one agent who told me that i need to pay her 1% commission although i'm the one who approached her based on her ad.. she claimed this is the normal practice.. this is the first time b4 viewing that an agent bring this up. so is she right to say that the 1% commission from buyer is the norm? cos this is the 1st time i heard of this. i even clarified if i'm doing all my own paper work why am i supposed to pay her commission. she say the 1% is her way of serving me with her choice of units... hope ppl can clarify here.. thanks.

  18. was using the WOFS site to chk the KUA number for me and wife-to-be.. we are both same, KUA number is 4.. so does it mean we should get house with maindoor facing N for success? this also affect how the bed should face? so when sleeping, leg facing north is also good for success?
