  1. The keys can be collected once the HLE got approved.
  2. Is safety valve necessary ? I realise that the 2 burners w/o safety is the smallest model that I can find from Fujioh . The SV model are bigger leh. Headache
  3. My flat is ready. Me staying at the same blk as u ! CSM told me that re-assessment is needed if your HLE expired for a long time. I guess their definition of long time = 3 months.
  4. Please advise what should I go now ? Call credit dept again ?
  5. Hi Xiao xiin, Congrat ! Yours is really a special case. No wonder so fast ! Dunno when will it be my turn. Hi Elaine, I called up credit dept and they actually push the work to the our HDB officer. HDB officer replied me that we will be receiving a letter soon to furnish our income documents by MAIL. She also mentioned that we can't fax in the income documents first. So SAD to hear this from her. Please let me know if you have any update after calling her tmr. Thanks !
  6. Hi Teodami, Well, it would also depend on the location of your home. Does it face the west side ? Is it block by other flat ? Are u at the lower floor ? If NO is your answer, I believe you will get breeze when you open your living room window. Then, you may jolly well, save the money to have a ceiling fan. Cheers !
  7. I see ! I see ! Luckily, my PLC is at mkt rate !
  8. Does it include electrical wiring works + labour to install downlight + downlight cost ?

  11. Mine Too. Hurray ! Gotta have a good lunch today.
  12. Nope ! I have sponsorship for WMF pots and pans. It comes with a steamer too. My sponsors got it at 40% discounts. Save me a big bulk ! They have a contract to fulfil so they must finish EVERYTHING before 31 Dec 2007. No choice loh. the construction was delayed for so long. Opps. But yours light should be prettier ya if compared to Ikea.
  13. Have you try bugis pasar malam ? They have quite a few Chinese painting. Alternative, you can try. 1. Tanglin Shopping Centre ( Level 2 or 3 or 4) - There is a shop that speicalise on China theme painting. 2. Retail Shop opp. Queenstown shopping centre. - Their painting is MIC and u may consider ordering it from them directly. Both shops sell canvas type painting. I would recommend shop 2 as I find their price more economical. Shop 1 looks like a very expensive shop so I did not step into the shop to see the price. Maybe, you can let me know the price if you do step into this shop.
  14. I tried J.B area but did not find any nice dinning light. Oh yes, Ikea lights are really cheap and I will purchase those that cost $12+ +(metal type) for my kitchen, storeroom, studyroom & toilets. I was wonder if we are talking about the the light.

  18. Here is the logic way. 1. Buy kitchen sink & tap , Hob & Hood , bathtub < Before renovation starts > 2. Buy Air con < Before renovation starts > 3. Fridge < Depend whether u wanna a fridge bases, if yes , please choose the model first & tell your ID the size > 4. Oven ( I treat this as a non built in oven ) + washing machine + electrical stuff < Wait till SALE loh if you are not in a hurry>
  19. Jobless from Jan 08. Company is relocating to HK and I choose to stay in Singapore with JM flat. I understands that the minimum investment amt is $5,000 with charges. Hence, It would not be worthwhile for me to invest just $5,000 for a few months. Also, the full downpayment will be paid by me only. So no money to invest. Addtionally, my hubby is in the midst of taking out his name from the existing flat( co-owner with parents when he is single), so we are most likely to get back his CPF within the next 6 months. It would means that I am the only one paying for the downpayment now and would do a partial payment once his CPF $ is returned to his account. So now, I would waiting for his CPF to be return back asap so that we have ample fund for this "raining" period.
  20. Oic ! So I have to prepare for 6 months cash to pay for the HDB since I will be jobless soon. Heartpain pain....
  21. May I know why HDB did not wipe out your CPF ? What did you do ?
  22. Hi Nemofc, Can u pls enlighten me your statement? On the date of signing the lease agreement, HDB said " Yes ! We will wipe off all your CPF". But my frd said that her CPF was not fully wipe out. I am very confused loh.
