I was lazy. My ID package comes with $1k voucher from Lights and Bathroom Solutions Pte Ltd so I chose most of my fittings from this company. I did nothing for door opening and reno.

$158 B4 GST that is solid surface.

this one I got no idea, let me check with @coolbunny her answer: A) dun hv as in lump sum. B) $1200 I like! I did a platform along my living room window too and got no sofa. it serves as an additional single size bed in case anyone stay over. Can refer to my profile pic. I spent most of time there, lol!

for me, stainless steel single but big and deep one.

Gain City salesman also said that too. And based on my own experience, it is true but then I did not take note of the model so not sure if the price I saw is the same model or different. But yes, you can lock down the price now and install later. If only bedroom, system 1 will do.

Thank you. My vinyl is from The Floor Gallery, Oak Floss. Ceiling fan is a Samire 48" I think. 3 colour tone cannot change to single tone light. Floor mat is blue lah, not black. oh, u meant PD door, slide to half and can push open. thank you. ah sorry, guess i remember wrongly. probably mixed up with another t-blogger.

no lah, i collected keys > 2 years ago liao. Just noted there are already few from west terra.
-
congrats! do you have the letter from HDB? they will list down everything you need to know in the letter, just follow the instruction step by step will do. Of cos u need to get ready the $$ to pay. and buy insurance b4 collecting keys. you have the option to buy the basic one which is very low cost or comprehensive one which from etiqa insurance which I remember pay 4 years free 1 year. I took that and not too ex either. And open SP utilities acct. another from west terra! you are the 3rd or 4th in this thread already. and ya, I also thought no one should have our keys once we collected them from HDB, but then the SP package was pasted on the circuit box by default. Maybe you have missed it the 1st time? The rust, you try to wash it or clean it. It may be dirt instead. the main gate got no rust right? it is just poor painting work.

I like pure simple white light. Only my ceiling fan light comes with 3 colour light which I cannot change. andotang uses ikea kitchen cabinets. his t-blog link can be found on 1st post.

that is bi-fold door. but your bathroom door not provided? I thought all bathroom doors are provided and all I have seen are bi-fold.

ah... i think many posts other than mine got hidden too... cos I am sure I didnt see other posts when I posted yesterday and now it all can be seen. congrats for key collection! and ya, why they place everything towards 1 side and leaving the other empty? what is the intention of that big space in the bathroom? There are member decided to put washing machine in the bathroom and leave more space in the kitchen so this might be 1 alternative that you may consider though it can be quite messy on the drainage. and then we are lucky to have @Ankle who is already in process of reno and can provide very practical advise. btw, when will your reno be completed and can we go visit?

test test I posted 2 replies and yet both were hidden... what happened? oh, now can post, but previous 2 posts still hidden... anyway, replying to swatcL: as long as you are happy. It is your home. For you to do whatever you want. I think Ikea got its good and bad lah. There are some who have only praises and some only criticism, so it also depends on they type of furniture you got. Just do your homework on the type of wood they used and etc. replying to francis: If shower screen is not possible, then shower curtain is better than nothing. It does not divide the space and you can change the shower curtain when it gets too dirty or when you feel you want to change a new look. And it is definitely a much cheaper alternative. Not sure if you have seen my bathroom picture? I also leave the 2 doors untouched and do a shower screen but my basin is inside the wet area. The benefit of leaving both bathroom doors open is... much better ventilation and wet areas get dry really fast.

I did not install storage heater but yes, HDB had designed enough space for storage heater. andotang did installed water heater iirc.
-
we have a member @Suneeta Devi did that. you can refer to page 93 for her photos.

L-shaped wardrobe ah... I personally felt the L-shaped corner is a waste. If you got a 5 ft length wardrobe against the bathroom wall side, will it be enough? then u can choose casement door which can save a little and put a bedside table. More gap between bed and wall for changing bedsheet. Not sure of aircon trunking route.

are the tiles smooth or rough in accordance to the lines? if is rough then difficult to clean leh.
-
wow, seems quite abit of work to be done. Please post pictures! pre reno while reno post reno are all welcome!
-
good for you! then you get to choose the other development if you want to. hello ankle! long time no see! mind to share your floor plan again? your neighbour @fridgebuzzz was scheduled to collect tomorrow but guess she is going to postpone collection for awhile. mind to share your reno plan? and you will be doing wallpaper!
-
Mind to share the cost of your platform? Just platform itself. WIW - can you adjust the height of your drawers cos not enough height for the clothes hanging on top. Is that a number lock for the drawer? how do you feel now after usage? Would you recommend to utilise the HH as WIW? does it feels stuffy? Any impact on your clothes, in terms of moisture / temperature etc.? Fire extinguisher - It is a good and necessary item I feel. But my vendor suggested to put the fire extinguisher in the living room but near to the kitchen entrance. Cos kitchen has the highest probability to catch fire so you want to make it available in the living room, assuming you are not in the kitchen, it is available on your way.
