Hi, any1 got any idea that a sheng siong or ntuc is coming up in our neighbourhood soon? Heard "rumours" abt a sheng siong but so far din see any yet.

Hi Mr Chong, sorry to dig up this old thread/topic..but im extremely concerned with the placement of bed in my MBR. My headrest of the bed is actually absolutely flat agst the wall but my ID has since built a feature wall. In other words, the feature wall will be separating my bed n the wall of the MBR,with my headrest resting flat on the feature wall instead. Is this ok else im seriously getting my ID to remove the feature wall? thanks in advance.

thanks happy for the info..will try to take a look at that today..btw, has any1 try to go to blk27b to look at one of the showflat? heard there is currently one on going... but the touting by those uncles is getting very intense!.. even from far when i n hubby were approaching the block recently, atleast over 10 uncles were just looking in our direction n an uncle even started to walk in our direction..too stressful a siutation for us n we quickly turned back!

yup, agreed with ya that dave is a soft spoken man n he oso showed me the quotation he had gotten ready with the address of his father in law's unit...duno if that is really meant for unit 106 or for a typical hdb flat?? anyway, since father in law defin. got alittle discounts...haha...my own wild guess! As usual, i bump into those uncles u mentioned n when they approached..just tel them u only visiting frens lah..anyhow, say 1 unit number..

yup, i agreed with gadgetgal on the abv. I too went over to unit 106,blk25a and infact spoken to Dave(the renov boss), himself..he mentioned that unit is in fact his father in law's place.

hi all, im also shopping for aircons n was quoted approx. S$3900 (with installation and all) for Mit.Elec. Inverter System 4-1xMXY-4A28VA,1XMSXY-GA22VA and 3XMSXY-GA10VA. Is the price ok? thanks

u can view their almost completed unit at #15 for workmanship..almost completed it (i tink)when I viewed it yesterday... understand they renovated many units in tanglin halt too but duno how true... U considering this ID? i have checked out their price list..looks ok but havnt sat down n properly ask for their quotation.. oic =) thanks for clarification.. was initally very confused by the terms..

sorry but im confused..what the difference of the term with haulage and sand? u mean the ID will charge u differently? got official receipt for both items?
