Best is all big banks, 24 hrs supermarket, 24 hrs coffee beans and Starbucks, hawker center, pubs, MRT all just across the road, best best is 5 mins drives to my working place!, so i can sleep more!! lol.... seriously, can't find anywhere like that le.. so no choice.. Bite the bullet.. Imagine half a mil for a 3 rms flat!? It still on the high side.. Is that stupid Val too high... Haiz...

I always thought i bought an expensive unit, as it a 38yrs old 3rooms flat... upgraded corner unit.. 785sqft val 460k cov 40k but after i read thru this thread.. i think mine wasnt that bad base on the location 2mins to holland village mrt, 24 hrs cold storage rite opposite, front view bt timah hill and back view MBS.. super bright and windy (till now no chance to on ac nor fan) so i guess it an ok deal after all..

hi retchlow, you mean u bought the table lamp at 200 plus?? it abit wee bit ex if it is.. i have exactly the same one, well it is still with me! i wanna to sell it off before i move 5 yrs ago, but it seem like it a quiet taste at that time..lol.. lucky i kept it, cos it suit my current place now.. (i moved twice within 5 yrs) so this lamp out of the carton again.. i love retro stuffs too.. ur tiles selection in the toilet are the same as mine.. i like the blue tiles u choose too! nice!

i am using ikea rod too.. i get the handy man to do it as close as possible, still abit of gap but i solved the problem with a flat stopper instead of those you bought.. ur stopper took up alot of space at the end. And i put the curtain last hook over at the end of rod hook, so no more gap le.. mabe you can change the stopper to the flat one? it cost 2.50 a pair in ikea.. show you some pics, hope you understand what i meant. and i believe ur rod still can adjust abit wee more closer to the end, you still have quite abit of space left!

Hi originalbread, Restoration nicely done! U mentioned ur layout like mine too ya? Urs also corner unit? Have you solve the leaking prob? When you bot the house did you look at the water mark? My house already 38 yrs old too.. Read thru ur blog, indeed loads of issues need to be settle.. Don be dishearted ya, when I done my Reno due to my busy schedule I have no time to monitor, when I have time to look at it, a lot of things are not exactly what I want.. But too late to rectify so no choice but to accept and try to make the best out of it.. So far so good! Enjoy and love staying this place so much now. Wish you solve ur prob soon ya.
