Hi Central Horizon, This is organised by Toa Payoh Central Zone '2' RC, we limited the number of coupon to 100 paxs and issued out all. Sorry for those does not get the coupon. We have plan to do more House Warming Party for Blk A, B, D, & E. We have invited Dr Ng to join us and he will be coming. This is a gathering party for all residents to get together and know each others, the objective is community bonding, please do not take it as acomplaint session. Hi, The RC objective is to promote social & community bonding, we share information and problem solving, this is just a suggestion as a goodwill for those who think they need to do some arrangement, the choice is on individual. FI. AVIVA do have some products that help.

Dear all, My suggestion is not to rush into investment or insurance for this purpose, check with the back for a short term FD eg. 3 to 6 months renewable, open a CPF IS account with the bank and transfer the fund to FD, there should be some bank can do it. You will not lose much interest on this and the purpose is to cushion for emergencies. Check it out. After HDB transation completed, closed the FD and put back the fund to CPF then decided what to do with the fund. Additional information is that wef 31 Dec 2007, first $20k from OA will be lock for any CPF IS, so if you think you need to set aside some CPF money for emergencies, please do it before 31 Dec 2007. We hope the rest of the neighbours do not mind we post a few question here: 1. How much $ do the GRLs draw from PA? GRLs recieve no $ from PA, yet contribute time and money. 2. How much bonus $ PA or the adviser pay to GRLs if we got all the credit claim. GRLs receive nothing, yet receive residents banding the door on us. Azura, being a PA staff having educated at the JC of NUS, drawing Monthly Salary and Bonus from PA, please try your very best to help the GRLs to achieve the PA objective and goal instead of passing all this remark maybe just because you have bad exprence. NOT all GRLs are perfect and not all Residents are friendy too. We try as much as possible, the choice is yours and the residents will know. Dear Strawberry_pear, If we confirm the flea market, it will be held under Blk 79 void deck, 16 Jan 08 is 3 week b4 CNY (wrong calculation earlier). No, the flea market is only for residents to setup store, we do not engage others vendor to come in, as it is not a commercial event, but if the budget allowed, we can have some popcorn store setup. Residents can sell their secondhand book for the needy, and we will put up banner for publicity and help to bring crowd there. Dear Gadgetman, Sorry, we can't have this service on the notice board, nevetheless, we can help you to set up a 'second hand market day' for the residents to sell their used and unused items at the void deck. We can provide table and chairs with a token charge say $2/- per table & two chair setup. The stall is only allow for residents only and registeration is required. Your can discuss about it and suggest a date which is most suitable day like weekend.

Don't mean to arrow you lar, just as an example. The RC in full is Residents Committee', it is your committee, as long as the committee agreed, it serve residents interest and is according to PA guildlines, we try all our best. Community Bonding is our objective and it never change. Woh, what a long list, this is not a dream, it is possible, we must first have enough helper and volunteer to contribute, but not on personal interest. We not only write letter and give flyers, we will try our very best to do door to door visit and collect feedback. (But you all have not move it lay). HDB always like to start without free parking like Blk 60 Lor 5 Toa Payoh last few year ago, they will wait till residents conplain, rc write in letter, than they consider. very sian. But you have to be aware that if the carpark is free, it will invite many shopper to park at your carpark there especially saturday & sunday, there are two chunch around and we are located at TPC and HDB Hub, that is what the residents at Blk 175, 177 to 179, 183 to 186, 191 & 193 having no parking lots during weekday evening and weekend even the Red season lots. What to do, we are located at such a wonderful location which is the heart of Singapore and Central of Toa Payoh Never the less, the rc will write a letter to HDB this week and check it out. Dear Ms White, It is possible for us to run Yoga Classes, what we need is PA registered trainer and helper to jagar. Thank you for the support. CC run their own class and we run ours, we try not to duplicate. But after talking so much, some of the neighbours here still not sure we are real lay. Can someone propose a date for us to meet up at our current rc center at Blk 179 Toa Payoh Central #01-462 and have each other contact information? It can be Saturday or Sunday afternoon, we try to arrange some refeshment for the gathering. Most of the time after work, we hang around the rc center, when go home after my childrens sleep than I got time to login this forum. Still have to sleep but also like to see the happening here. We know the merchant association in TPC, some for their member are friendly, we can introduce you to them, we have no confict of interest, but some of you don't feel comfortable, we do not want to invite CBIB or the PA misunderstanding lay.
