Just went to Hangrohe's main shop at Mohamed Sultan Road. Is there a difference between this main shop and the retailer at Parkmall? Is the retailer cheaper? Their products are nice... just don't know if it is worthwhile to pay so much more. I am tempted on the Talis E series but wife don't feel like spending the extra money.

Thanks! Will definitely drop by.

Hi... is there a good place to buy Hansgrohe products?
-
What arguments? You guys have turned a simple sharing of opinions and experiences into a full fledge argument on who is right and who is wrong.... quality vs service. Was this page about this? I didn't want to get technical... but since when did I say I will pay for good service over quality? I simply said that I will not tolerate bad service.... and yes... there is a difference between these two statements. It is ironic that I get accused of putting words into other people's mouth when so many here "helped to translate" my sentences for me... gosh. And although I kept emphasising that "to each, his own", it is clearly not good enough. It seems that I must agree that I was wrong, cause I kept getting "corrected" and repeated given "life lessons" on quality over service (which I did not ask for, nor imply) and get attacked, on a very personal front, on just a simple sharing of our experience at Rhoyxon. People who values quality service and choose not to reward bad service is "branded" as getting emotional....hmmm.... that's a new one. Who on earth are you people to judge how or what I should value? Did I get personal here as well?? Yes.... I am guilty of saying that it is laughable for several lines in this forum page that seemingly imply that Rhoyxon's products are the best... and seemingly imply that one cannot find any products of similar value-vs-quality elsewhere. Forumers... trust me, do your homework and you will find better quality, better price, and best of all, better service in MANY places. As for people who need vindication of your purchase decisions with Rhoyxon, you guys win lah.....Rhoyxon has the best products and you guys are MASTERS in dealing with them. And please... do continue to have your last personal shots and say here.... I was never here to argue with anyone, but I was thoroughly entertained reading these treads nonetheless.

You seemed way more emotional on the topic than I am. You are right... I really don't get you. You make it sound like Rhoyxon is the only shop in Singapore that sells "quality" products.... which is laughable, in my view. I don't believe I am alone in my thinking.... but hey... whatever suits you. The argument is pointless if there is a lack of respect of other people's opinion.
-
This is purely our own opinion so how could you simply judge that we have let our emotions get the better of us?? We have formed that opinion about their products BEFORE the boss even open his mouth. You may have bought their products, great for you....but I would ask that you respect our opinions not make such comments that seemingly judge us on a personal front. We are sharing our experience and opinions. I have mentioned countless times, if people like their products, go ahead. But there will be people that will not put up with bad service attitude... and we belong to this catagory. There is no right or wrong here... so please stop trying to prove that your decision is the right one. Thanks!

Hi... I am doing the exact same thing for my resale flat. From what I know... this is roughly the cost of a new 5ft sink support: Hack old support - $150 Build new 5ft support with tile finishings - $650 Add two cabinet doors - $180 Add 5ft granite top - $400 New Sink - $180 to $350 Cost varies with different contractor... but it is around there. As you can see.... not cheap. !!

Hi Chunky Monkey..... please.... who cares or holds a grudge that long? Not healthy, you know. We had a bad experience and we moved on. I was just replying to another forumer's comment. This is the third time you came to "defend" the shop's product quality. That's all fine with me, like I said, it is up to the individual... I certainly will not tolerate the service attitude, much less give them business. Thats me and my wife.... not implying that everyone should do so.... just sharing our experience.

Hi Padi, we are moving to Bishan St 24.... getting our keys in Jan08 and moving in after reno in March. I see you bought stuff from Berllari. May I ask what did you buy from them and how do you find the quality of their stuff? We are considering their stuff too.
-
You had to be there.... he was still sitting on his chair doing paper work while he mumbled those words.... so does it sound like he was trying to help us or chase us away? I will let all the forumers be the judge. I just state the facts. Btw... you have a very cool apartment!!
-
Yup... we were very shock to hear the boss say that. Glad you had a better experience elsewhere. We like some of the stuff from Bellari, Nan Hwa and Poh Joo. You may want to try these shops as well. Happy shopping!

Really depends on your console. If it has centre compartments to support the weight, 40kg should not be a problem at all. Ya... if drill hole, it would need to be about 10cm wide... at least.
-
U can try drilling two holes in the wall.... one top and the other bottom.... have the wire run down on the room behind that living room wall... then come out at the bottom to connect to your console which should block the ugly cables at the bottom. You can case the wire up properly in the room. That way, the room behind the wall will just have a casing sticking out but your living room wall will look fine. Not a perfect solution but definitely a cheaper solution compared to doing up a feature wall.

No design or product is worth such bad service attitude. Besides, there are so many shops and products to choose from. Rhoyxon will not get any business from us.... that is for sure.

Just to share our experience... My wife and I went to Rhoyxon at Bukit Merah today after seeing some people in this forum recommending the place. When we went in... the boss was sitting down serving another customer so we walked around the small shop looking at whatever that was on display. Less than 2 mins later, the customer left and the boss continues to sit on his office chair doing paper work. He then asked if he can help... I said we were just browsing.... then he said .. I quote: "We don't sell electronics, only kitchen stuff. Browsing will not know the exact size and measurement." What the F**K?? Since when did we say anything about shopping for electronics? In his words, he is telling us not to waste his time browsing unless we have specific requirements! We stormed out of his shop immediately. In this day and age... this kind of service attitude is simply not acceptable. To top things off... my wife and I do not think his stuff are any special and found his prices very expensive. So there... be warned... if anyone wants to visit Rhoyxon... you better know EXACTLY what you want and be prepared to give them business immediately.... else... you are simply not welcome. And please... don't even think about going there to "browse".... cause apparently, his stuff are for paying customers' eyes only.

Hey thanks! There are SOOO many brands of taps and mixers to choose from. People keep telling us to get a good one... but what is "good"?? When we saw the ones at Bellari, we were happy with the design and quality....but needed reassurance from people who have used their products. Thanks again for your feedback. Not quite sure which "rectangle tap" you are refering to.... got a picture to share? Rectangle shape seems to be the "in" thing these days... but they are not cheap.... demand and supply, I guess. Our contractor will be providing the basin and toilet bowl for our common toilet as part of his package. Quite good quality ones at $150 and $80, respectively. Can't complain lah. For our master bathroom, we already booked a bathtub, vanity basin and toilet bowl from Sim Siang Choon... last two are Caroma brand (Australia). This cost us a mere $418! Though we still have to construct a bathtub support, the prices were very low because we chose the least favourate colour... Burgundy. For this colour.... no one buys so they are clearing stock with big discounts. The way I see it, if we choose our bathroom tiles wisely, we can make burgundy work for us! Haha.... I assume you bought your toilets from Rigel? Heard about them.... may check them out one of these weekends. Do you know their address?
-
No one has any opinion about Bellari?? Can anyone recommend any other good brands for mixers and taps?
-
Anyone familiar will the brand Bellari? We just went to their shop at Jalan Besar. It is an Italian brand and their stuff are made in either Italy or Spain. I must say.... their prices seem attractive and the quality looks very good. They also have very nice designs. They sell all sorts of kitchen and bathroom stuff... but we were impressed with their sinks, mixers and shower heads. Is anyone using their products? Can share your experience?

Hi MaCe, Do you know if the Pipe Shop helps people to bend and cut the pipes as well? I have installing a long bath in my master bathroom so I would require a bent pipe for my shower curtain. Ikea sells the L-shape shower pipe but it is paint quoted and comes with joints, so not sure if that is a good option. Would rather have the whole bar in one piece made from stainless steel. Not sure how to mount the bar into the wall though. Any advise?

Any Lobang For Furniture In Jb? Got Name And Address? Thx!
Max383 posted a topic in Home Furnishings
A lot of furniture shops in Singapore get their supplies from JB... and I know they deliver to Singapore as well. But I don't know a lot of good places to get furniture in JB. Can anyone introduce?? -
Yes... I've heard the same thing. I like their hob design and the price is competitive. But I don't know if the product works well... and there are very limited info on the brochsure and website on their products. Maybe you can share your experience after use. The firm seems small though... so no point having a lifetime warranty on the glass hob if they do not exist in a few years' time. That's my concern.
-
Hi Alice916, may I ask where exactly in Malaysia did you buy your furniture from? U have the address? Thanks. HI... I am considering buying EF Hood as well... but the model I am looking at only has 480m3 of suction power. Is yours the same? How has it served you? Hi... I am considering to buy EF hood. The model we are looking at has only 480m3 suction power. Is yours the same? How has it served you so far?

HOBZ is apparently a local brand. www.hobz.com.sg Their glass hobs looks very good and the 782 model is only $330 and comes with life time warranty on the glass. Anyone familiar with this brand? Can share your experience?
