hi hi, did u manage to call HDB?? I called yest and was told that they need to receive a envelop from the sales dept then they can send out the application form. then the CSO (think she's call Mdm Soh or Mdm something) said that Blk A is not even completed. and when i ask her when will it be completed she ask me to wait. if u called let me knw wad's the response u get... then if its good respond then i call them and scold them... hahahah.

yesterday just went to confirm my package with A&D, Johnny.... finally settled on this issue liao... actually only went to 6 IDs then i superb tired liao... almost everyone gave a good idea and plan however, we think we are more comfortable with A&D Johnny... the quotation also quite reasonable.... and he is also quite flexible.... hope that he wont disappoint us.... Congrats to you!! After i saw ur thread, i immediately ran down to check my letter box with my HB but it was empty..... cant wait for the letter to come man..... my HB going overseas soon so hope it will come before he go overseas so that we can go collect the keys after new yr..... Does it realli help??? will try to call later..... i wld like to check with those who got keys liao... re: monthly housing loan..... currently, i'm not working so i dont have recent payslip... can i give my previous payslip (which is up till Oct)?? and for the monthly CPF deduction, lets say if my HB CPF contribution is not enuff, then we have to top up cash or they will deduct from my CPF?? If we are supposed to pay cash (due to my unemployment) then when i got a new job can i request for them to deduct from my CPF instead of continueing to pay cash??

Hi, i will be getting my keys in March. saw a lot of good feedbacks on Ideal House.... however, everyone is commenting on Kenneth and Johnny... so i abit blur liao... can anyone share with me ur experience (good / bad) with Ideal House, Kenneth / Johnny.... i also looking at A&D... got quite good feedbacks in this forum too.... can also share ur experience with me abt this ID Firm. can i check how you all do ur study table?? Custom made or buy from stores??? Or DIY?? i would like to have customised study table however the ID whom i went to quoted me prices which are super ex lae... anyone got any ideas if i can go buy and self install (most prob will ask the construction workers to help me drill in.... Hee) or got any recommendations for cheaper and good carpenters?? The ID quoted me abt $300 per feet lae...... very ex lae..... or iss it normal for custom made ones?? dont realli like those ready made ones.... perfer those which are customised one... simple and wall mounted.... with few drawers.....

Thanks for all the encouragements and positive tots of moving in later..... haiz.... prob its a good thing afterall....... just to check, anyone using 'gip-son board' (dunno how to spell la...) as feature wall??? any comments on that?? I think its cheaper cos Linewerkz recommend that to me and the price he quoted was lower than Unimax.... and its super cheap lor (21k compared to 26k)...... think most prob i will take up the package with Unimax cos we are more comfortable with Alvin... he seems more flexible and more responsible..... whereas Peter (Linewerkz) tend to be more strict and inflexible.... he even said that if the flooring bumps up / uneven, he wont do anything cos its the type of flooring (homogenous) we choose.... not his fault..... me and husband was like 'huh, then our fault??' very stingy la.... not helpful one......

Hi Chrispy, arghhh.... the reply came too late le.... i called in to im@age and the person who ans the call was call Charles, so we fix an appoinment with him. went down to mit him, quite friendly and will give us ideas and suggestion on the designs, however, he was unable to produce us a prospective sketch drawing, only did some drawings on the floor plan and was also unable to give us a quotation. only saying the cost will be $20 - $25k ( i told him my budget is $25k). i know they are branded so i was a bit worry cos the kind of stuffs i wanna do, will be more than $25k if i go to branded ID firms.... but he assured me that the quality and workmenship will be good cos they are 'Superbrand', got auditors checking, got quality assurance, casetrust, etc.... i didnt confirm my reno with them cos no exact quotation, i dont dare to commit, scarly later confirm liao then he add in this and that then the reno cost me $30 - $40k then i die.... went to unimax after that, the ID (Alvin heng) provide me a 3D drawing and exact quotation.... total of $26k. asked me commit but i haven commit too..... will be going to lineworkz today evening and see wad they quoted us.... the ID (Peter) told me the price he quoted me is $21k.... a bit unbelievable.... cos way too cheap.... very confused now..... how how how??? any suggestions?? do u all think those quality assurance, auditors, superbranded thinggy accurate one ma?? unimax also show me that they got the casetrust, but they dont have superbrand..... are all these impt factors to consider??? BTW im@ge ask me to pay $500 for a prospective sketch drawings. he say if i didnt close the deal with him, i can use the $500 to buy those kitchen accesories from them such as oven, fridge, stove, washing machines.... the brand is TEKA. heard before?? hi jacky777, my granny used to stay at the old flat which is currently our new flats.... hahahha... very funny right... she was under SERS and shifted to the blk beside the church (infront of the MRT exit) I am not under SERS... currently staying at Bukit Panjang with my parents.... me and my FH will be building our new home at Blk A..... so everything already done and completed?? Cant wait to receive the letter for the loan.... juz wanna check with the Seniors..... how long does it take for the loan to be approved?? do we have to wait till all the Blk A-ers to submit their forms then HDB will start to arrange key collection dates or if we were to submit earlier, we can get the key earlier??? And also wad is the amount HDB will loan as per our combine salary.... (dont realli know how to ask this qns in a professional way... hope u all can understand wad i am trying to ask..... hahahah) Hi alister, juz wanna check whether will u be there tmr?? hi all, juz saw this site and was super excited to join in all these discussion.... me and my FH will be staying in Blk A, Level 13.... 4 rm, 75sqm.... was being scheduled on the last 2 days to select a flat... duh..... still rmb how kan chiong we (incl my mummy) are, looking at the HDB website to see which flats are being 'left' for us to choose from.... however, i can say tat we are still blessed to be able to select a flat at level 13 instead of being left with those low level flats.... my FH will nv agree to take it up if we are left with flats at level 7 and below..... heng ar!! currently waiting anxiously for the HDB loan letter to come to my letter box.. seems that the letter are still crawling towards it..... so envy that some of you already are in the process (some even near to completion) of the reno.... hope mine can come earlier.... though most probably we will only start our reno after CNY as most reno company will not take in any more projects after dec.... sob sob.... anyone in Blk A already receive letter for Loan????????
