How offen do we need to top up the refrigent(gas) ? Is there a lifespan for it or the need to due to leakage. My aircon is installed by hong tar 2 years ago and till now i have not done any servicing like gas top up or chemical wash...and i sleep with aircon on almost everyday.Set to 25 degree and still feel cool.

Installing or changing of cooker hob is $50 charged by Citygas which include a new hose.So when changing new hob, it come with new hose.

No...if your hose is inside cabinet and not expose, u can last even 50 years...

Using towngas or LPG? Made sure u buy the correct one

LPG and citygas (towngas) are both different in their density.That why may have different in burning, but that is not a concern for most food lover as u know all the resturant and foodcourt in aircon and shopping centre also have to use piped gas.They cannot use LPG . As for the price, it is subjective..u may pay less on cylinder but not convenient if u ran out of gas...Also, piped gas is definitely safer than LPG

My mother also used cylinder gas even though she had piped gas supply for her home,it had been 18 years already...i also dunno why she choose cylinder gas , maybe it is the cost .I heard that last time, house owner who using PUB gas may need to pay a certain fee for "renting"the gas meter outside...of course now using citygas is charged accordding to the meter reading. Actually i don't really see how much u can save on using cylinder gas...using piped gas is definitely more convenience, no need to purposely wait at home for them to come,it also saved space as HDB kitchen is getting really smaller and lastly, it is generally more safer then the LPG as town gas is also lighter than air.Any case of leak will actually "floated"away as long u keep your window open.

it depend, if your HDB estate do not have piped gas supply,then u have to go for gas cylinder, but if your neighbour or your block have piped gas supply, then u can used piped gas. Piped gas is usually painted in yellow but sometime it will painted the same as the other pipe, look out for the wording "GAS" and the arrow head, if your block have this, it mean u can use citygas. what i know some part of jurong west HDB and shunfu area do not have piped gas.

Some old HDB estate like jurong west, shunfu do not have piped gas supply. therefore they cannot do anything abt ut, u live in land properties or HDB ?

The best is not to hang any clothes outside the corridor, it is very unsighting.Why blame those pervert who want to take them?

Need to check with you guy about starhub mobile phone connection.My friend who is using starhub told me connection is very bad when he came to my home, but i'm consider switching to starhub after my contract with M1 end. Need some opinions from starhub users who lived over here. Anyway,i got this starhub mobile boardband and i can say it is quite bad due to frequent disconnection

Hi blur bug My home also invaded by this small tiny pest that crawl on my false ceiling in my home, first it appeared on one of my bedroom L-box, now they also can be founded on false ceiling at my dinning room area. They actually eat up my false ceiling as i can see "hole marking" up and there...even i vaccumed them off,they will still come back after 1 week, dunno what had made them grow there? although this pest is very small but it is very obviously to everyone when look inyo my false ceiling, i can't do anything now as it is quite hard to put the pest killer on the ceiling... As for the traffic jammed on the exit during the morning peak hour, i really hope the LTA can do something to solve...especially all the cars from the both MSCP had to use the one of only exit. Hopefuly LTA can resolve this soon.

Seem like no one really knows what is the development plan for that area...but i feel the land may reserved for condos ...

I also woken up by a foreign worker in the morning as he was yanking on the phone...i feel like throwing water bomb to him. More or less, i can see that most reno had already completed..i'm not sure about whether HDB allow reno to be done on sunday and PH. But my ID contractor once told me that resident can complaint if work is carried out on sunday. I will love to see a entertainment or shopping complex being built there...this area got potential since MRT is being so near there.
