  1. hi everyone I have a built in wardrobe that came with a overhanging sliding system for its door. But I wanted to have a sliding system with a damper system and was wondering if I can just add that in or do I have to change the whole sliding system? If I do change it, does anyone have any contact on who can do it for me? Thank you!
  2. hi all, my contractor brought in a carpenter that screwed up my built in wardrobe - wrong measurements - chipped drawers - doors with bent metal handle it should be straight and the laminate was not applied properly. It can even slide on its own. among the many issues but generally poor workmanship and uncleaned finishes. Contractor is not really willing to sort those out for me and want to collect balance already, i am fuming and raising issues with him. I don''t think i can trust him to do any rectification. But moving forward, I was hoping to find another carpenter to rectify parts of the work where possible esp with the doors, may want to replace them. Anyone knows any carpenter who is willing to take up small jobs?
  3. The black line is because of the base of the laminate - there are two types: white and black. you will not see the line if it is white based but that will be more expensive. For the black one you can use a white paint marker or paint. I am in the same situation and my contractor tried to use paint on it but he did such a bad job that it got frustrating. I think a white paint marker from popular will be better and I am going to do it myself
