Normal Washing Machine Or The Front Load Washer Cum Dryer

I was "quite" decided on front load (some effort to persuade the hb too) but mum asked 2 aunties who are using it. Both said not good (1 using Electrolux, 1 I'm not sure but also continental brand). Cons: 01) Leaking water 02) Tiring to bend down 03) Cannot throw in clothes at last min 04) Cannot retrieve clothes already thrown in Mum was disappointed I still want to go ahead with the front load choice. Am in a dilemma now -
Electrolux Or Brandt? - For Front Load Washer / Dryer
pinkdewy replied to crazycar's topic in Electronics & Electricals
But EWF771 is a low end range right? I just want some reassurance that it's good. KS... Anyway better to pay a little more for Electrolux. LG front load (non direct drive) already costs $600. -
Electrolux Or Brandt? - For Front Load Washer / Dryer

Any reviews for Electrolux EWF771? I was quoted $760 by a neighbourhood shp. Good price? -
Hi Gerald, I believe you meant either Model : WD-14331AD (8kg washer/4kg dryer) or Model : WD-12320RD (9kg washer). I was quite tempted to buy the washer/dryer but was told that for combo prdts, the dryer will not be 100% efficient. Prob 90% and the drying time is very long like 120min or more. These 2 models are Direct Drive motor so more expensive compared to the normal ones. Was planning on Jap brand initially but now too many choices and advice till confused.

Where To Buy Crockery
pinkdewy replied to firipy's topic in Moving House: Packing, Storing, Moving To Your New House
Hi all, If you need to get cutlery, I would rec Tangs basement. There's a wagon right in front of Bodum counter. I just bought a few sets there last evening. Very high quality 18/10 stainless steel at 50% off. The selection is not much but it's ideal enough (for me at least). Had wanted to buy the WMF 24 or 30pc set from Isetan private sale ytd but I don't need that 6pcs of knives so "ala carte" is better Total damage: $54+ 4 tablespoons, 4 forks, 2 knives, 2 teaspoons, 2 dessert forks, 2 soup spoons, 1 butter knife. PS: Me and hb super KS. Have not get keys but already bought a lot of small small things. -

May I know whom did you sign with? Is it true that the quote they give you is not accurate and need to top up quite a lot finally?
