Hi Dr.Evil, I agreed wif wat CareBnet had said. Tau was not the cheapest quotation we had got during our research. But we are impressed wif their service workmanship quality and they professionalism thus we chosen them in the end. We paid for the quality and services. Even till now when our reno is already completed and handed over since end Sept 2008, they still called us once a while to check it out. Decision is still ur, u will be the person liaising wif the contractor during the whole reno process thus u must be comfortable wif them. If u wan u can ask Tau to bring u to their on hand projects or even to those completed projects. See the work for yourself then decide.

I agreed.. Beside customers, Kelvin is treating us as his frens too... Jus spoke Kelvin the other day cos wifey wanna install another lighting at the kitchen worktop area. Will be doing it after CNY. Wishing everyone a Happy Properous Ox Year !!!

Hi Dr.Evil Not all contractor will think that 10K is a poor budget, we have to work ard wif it and that is their job to help us work out the budget. Sorry to hear that u had this bad encounter from the Kelvin from GPLAN. I believed Kelvin from Tau Interior wont treat his customer like this. Even if it is a low budget, he will tried his best to help.

No worries.. The designs are done by either Kelvin and Gabriel.. and Uncle Winson is the boss of Tau. Jus give them a call and ask for quotation. No harm gettin more quotation from various ID company and compared. Happy Reno...

Hi misschiang, In forum, we shared our reno experiences and opinions and it is still owner's choice to make the final decision. Am glad to hear that you and your hubby made your choice to choice Tau and are happy with their renovation works. Tau had always provide good working attitude and after reno services. Even tot our reno had already complete, we called Kelvin up, he will still be reachable and give us advises.. Congrats on your reno completion and your upcoming wedding... Do post some pics for us to see.

Ya.. We had all been thru our reno experiences wif Tau and we are all satisfied customers . Thus here we are recommending Tau. But still... it will always be your final decision on who you wan to engage. No one can force you to do watever u do not wish.

Hi hi, So far how was your reno process? Carpentary work now? Recommendation and opinions is only for consideration, most impt you have to be comfortable and satisfied abt their work when u are dealing wif them. Glad that you are happy wif Tau's work So sad to hear abt ur fren's encounter during her reno.... Guess that is the so called hidden cost that some company will imposed after u signed up. Agreed with CareBnet. It all really depend how you determine if it is high or reasonable... To us, is the quality and services that is more impt. If you source for some whose prices is cheaper but their after services is like then wat is the point. We should be paying for the quality and services and enjoy thru out our reno and not be and complaining on how bad the workmanship and quality is... My 2 cents worth...
