Can get them to bring u ard to their current ongoing projects to take a look on the work done.... This was wat we do before we committed. Cos there was no pics but then the reviews are good so we decide to give it a try. Current our flat are still under renovation by Tau, as we are not into taking pics that why no pics of our reno was shown..

finally taking over ur hse liao.. remember to show us your final project... Guess we have to wait for another 2 weeks for completion.... Now in the mid of painting, tml doing air con installation.

We jus started rewiring yesterday.. still long way to wait for the rest to complete..... For bridging tiles, wife already informed Tau abt it and they did some minor rectification... Did you do rewiring?

I would said they are really accomodative.. Watever things we wan to change they sure said ok ok... Not like some IDs / contractor will said no if wan to change colours have to pay extra this and that...

My painting will only start after aircon installation. Only 2 were doing plastering last evening. Agreed.... When u have any problem and queries, he will be able to resolve and advise you wat to do..

I agreed.. Whoever it is, i am sure they will put in their effort to make sure the reno go on smoothly for the owner. Jus went up this evening after work... The workers are still doing the plastering at 7pm...

Mine a major reno cos the previous owner rented out illegally to foreign workers thus they never take care at all... The tilings for walls and flooring for living rm, 3 bedrooms, balcony, kitchen and toilets are all done. Windows changed too. Doing plastering now. Next Monday doing the rewiring.. Lightings will deliver on Monday and switches we are buying our own. The rest all coming on the first week of Sept. Ours are handle by 3 of them... Uncle Winson, Kelvin and Gabriel..

More or less cos electrical appliances delivery on 13 Sept and 安床 on 14 Sept. Thus MBR and kitchen must be ready by then... When is your completing? Your was handled by Kelvin right? So far any hiccups?

Is it the one near central area or Block 590++ there? My in law used to stay at AMK but shifted to Yishun. You are lucky man... bought 313k for AMK location.

AMK 4 rm? How much you pay for it? AMK estate are quite pricely becos of their location. If the condition of the hse is still okie then re-doing parts of it shld be okie. For us, we had to overhaul cos the previous owner rented the flat out illegally to foreign workers.

All depend on indiviudal's needs and requirements. Comfortable and ease of mind is impt when in selecting an ID as we the hse owner is the one that will be facing ID thru out the whole reno. Ours will be completing by end of Sept ba.. Now doing plastering job follow by rewiring, lightings, painting and carpentary work... Good luck for yur reno. Whr you bought your flat?

We chose Tau is becos of the price plus the attitude given to us. We have in mind roughly wat we wan and they provided us wif useful infomations and advise. The other shortlisted IDs were rather pushy, proposed to us very fancyful ideas which we already told them we are not interested. Well at the end of the day... it is still the choice of the house owner who they wan to engage... So is your hse reno completed? Ours still in the stage of processing...

Wow glass door 100% more than other quotes? That is alot Really wonder how they quoted ... When we compared Tau's quotation wif the 2 other IDs that we had shortlisted, for the exact same work, more or less there are different in pricing but in term of the overall package, it was cheaper for us from Tau's quotes.... BTW ours is a whole hse major overhaul.

Hi escalla74, So far our quotes from Tau are reasonable and compared to other IDs that we have sourced, they are cheaper and best no gst charges. You can discussed with Uncle Winson for further discount.

Agreed with what you said. At the end of the day after finding all the quotes from various IDs, it is still best to chose an ID that you think you are comfortable to liaise and work with.... The advises given in this forum is for the forumers to gain a better ideas and options for chosing an IDs. Wife was not comfortable in the first place when we only see posts and no pics. She saw lots of t-blog and forumers posting up their work process done by the famous I***l Hse but there was no pics posted in Tau thread. And she had got doubts abt it if this could be trusted......Told her no harm going down to see before we make our final decision.

No offend but jus wanna share our views. Not siding wif any parties here too. For sure seeing pics speak louder then words and i am sure the forumers here jus wanna make sure things go on smoothly and not to be cheated afterall it will be a big amt spend in reno. Anyone can give their comments on how good an ID is and how reasponsible etc. But if you really wan to know if it is true or fasle, best is to go down personally and check it out. You can ask them to bring you to their current projects to see. We manage to get Tau's contact thru one of the forumer and arranged for a meetup wif Kelvin and Gabriel. We discussed thru wif them on our requirement and get a quote but of cos we had been doing research and gettin quotations from other IDs posted in this forum too. Out of the few quotes we got, Tau pricing was reasonable, we were quoted $46k finally excluding the rewiring for a major overhaul of a 5 room resales flat after all the revised and amendmets. We also requested to see their ongoing projects and was brought by them to Pasir Ris and Bishan to see the flat done. We even spoke to the Pasir Ris owner. And finally signed the contract wif them after seeing their works done. All was discussed and confirmed within 3 weeks as we wanted to avoid the 7th mth festivel to Dong Tu. We collected our keys on 18 Jul and our reno work had since started on sat (26 Jul). And so far we had encountered good experiences with Tau.
