i used to stay on 3rd floor for more then 20yrs with my parents.......then, my parents moved to Sk and we stayed on the 8th floor. and, when i got my 1st flat, it's on 15th floor,.....and now i sold that flat and staying with mi PIL while waiting for my own hse to complete reno,...my PIL hse on 12th floor. and my new hse, is on the 4th floor.......hahahhahaha so, i hv a wide scope of experience on all levels....low, mid & high....hahaha i find it all the same....most impt is neighbours! if we hv considerate neighbours, whichever level is also heaven......but, if we kena those really jiat-lat neighbours, then it's machiam living in ****! so far my enighbours all nice ppl,......and i m now crossing my fingers hoping my new neighbours will be nice ppl as well. hmm......so far i'd been there few times,......and never see any of the beighbours b4 leh.....machiam all these EM owners seldom come out and say hello hello leh......all stay home and keep to themselves.....hehe

come to think of it,......really find the price too steep lor. yday was talking to my hb, and after some talking talking.......we find that not worth paying half a mil for a HDB 4rm!

ya, the recess oledi bog by previous owner, but they only lay the granite flooring all the way from the recess, but did not extend the gate or door leh. actually, my hb says, just extend the gate to the recess and remain the main door at it's current position. guess it will be the same as yours.....

i only try try on some 3D design software,....but, tell you lor,...it's really not an easy task. then i will show it to some designer on my concept,....and they do some fine tunning lor....hahaha they are still the experts lah!

cute doggies!!!!!!!!!! too bad i can';t keep a pet at home cos my 2 boys are born prematurely,....and my elder has asthma, and younger boy born with a hole on his heart. i have a pet dog, but i left her at my mum's hse......cos i can't bring her home due to my boys conditions.

ya lor,....we hope to arrange all furnitures delivery on 27th or 28th Sep......sacre 1st Oct is OH, then hv to pay extra....keke hope my contractor can handover to me by 10th Sep,...then i hv more time for the cleaning up lor. mine is contractor lah....so far he did not give me any drawings lah. i did that myself,......but, **** stressful and not easy to draw.....hahahaha i design it myself, and get the contractor to do the work lor. (much cheaper den go to ID). my previous 5rm, i also do my own design and get contractor do.....also cost me ard 15k at that time...inclusive of a/c. Think this hse will cost ard 18k (incl a/c and electrical).

yes,.....you can save alot of $ leh.......save water by showering in NYP,....hahahaha true, the resale price in AMK is quite high,.....this is also another good choice.

well, you will have to decide and qork out the sums carefully then. by the way you described on the convenience of this location (to work and to parents hse), i think it's really very very very good lor. you will then save alot on transport,.........also, can sleep later (hahahahhaa),.....even can go home for lunch then go back to work (save $$$)....keke how i wish i work near my hse, then everyday get my maid cook and i go home for lunch.....also more convenient to go home to check on maid & kids.....keke can go home anytime to *spot-check* on the maid....

hi hi angel yeah, think sure will be able to complete b4 the deadline. i will tell my contractor to complete and hand-over to me by mid Sep....at least i hv 2 weeks to do all cleaning. if he can complete and handover to me earlier,....say 1st week of Sep,....lagi best,...then will hv more time to do cleaning and buy things....and also hv more time to arrange delivery of furnitures lor.

true, not practical for family with kids. for ppl like us,....will need to hv extra rooms for the kids.......how can afford do such revamp??? maybe next time when kids all grow up,......they moved out, then i will buy a small 3room flat and revamp the whole place.....hahahahhaa think and dream nia.....keke

hi hi mine is mirror image of hello's hse,....so, i presume mine and yours is the same. the stairs is on the left side, the utility is on the right side,....right? i will be extending my main dorr to the recess area.....and might remove off the current window from the recess and make a small opening there.....will discuss with hb and decide on this later.

i think so.....keke i was telling hb,....maybe we can go there to see the layout and design over the wkends,.....den at the sametime can 8steal* some of the ideas for our hse reno......hahahhahaa :D

i personally do not think it's worth paying so much, and it's still a hdb 4 or 5 room flat, and smoemore have to observe so many rules & regulations from hdb. imagine, you are paying for 600k+ for a 5room, and 5yrs wanna sell,....how much you need to sell inorder to *break-even*???? 800k??? i agree with apple......if i were to buy a resale flat, i will still reno the place, and that is not cheap! thus, i will not buy a 5rm for 800k then hv to re-do,....and spend another 30k (on avg) on the reno. i agree that resale price will still continue to go up,.....cos supply still can't meet the demand.
