Just got my kitchen reno by JS and with black galaxy with large gold flakes IMHO. Very attractive, very nice and sparking from all views. Very matching with mine all off-white cabinets. per ft cost less than yr thou.

We went for "off-white"

Reno still on-going. Short of table top, india granite to be installed. Some picts for viewing.

usually problem faced for L-shape the cabinet is the access to the area. My contractor has suggested this method and it is very workable.

Went to JS Furniture office in Sugei Kadut recently and their prices are avg or lower than the others I've RFQ. At their office, Jack the boss attended to my planning and quotes, friendly and to me transparent in providing his feedback/cost. Best, you get to see his work place busy with works. Will be seeking him for my kitchen reno soon.

Ceiling Fan Reliability : Your Long-term Experiences
spidercool replied to sepultura's topic in Electronics & Electricals
my hall fanco is already 4yrs old now, motor is still strong and paint work is still good, no corrosion, erosion etc. however, motor seems to be getting louder and sometime with cak cak sounds, but regular WD40 lubrication can solve the problem. I'm replying this while enjoying the wind from my ceiing fan now. For my BRs, all having KDK wall mounted and Toshiba aircon -
Had a Rega model 118 installed recently, think $100+. Was thinking of using back 707 as the last one has lasted 13 yrs,but the saleman showed me the 707 heater element / coil nowaday made in Malaysia (nomore UK) and are all plastic. Therefore, the reliability has dropped. Rega 118 has copper element with life time warranty and 12 difference voltage for water temp selection. So far, family happy using it and commented better than 707.

3 In 1 Microwave Or Built-in Oven?
spidercool replied to icegal's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Have been using Sharp since day 1 since 1993. The m/w is still operating well but just for safety reasons (wear and tear) and have it replaced with a much bigger capacity one, so that more plates can be m/w at one go = saving energy. Got this Sharp R958A - bake, grill and m/w mutli combination operation also can, Courts selling $599 where as GainCity at AMK ind park 2 selling $569. Wife will be using it for baking again ! -

spidercool replied to lxiul's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
So how much you paid for your Sys 4 Toshiba? My were working fine and the temp was min 26C or max 27C at night. very cold liaow. Like the ECO function too. For my hall 22K unit, set at 25C is good enough and able to cool the hall within 5 mins. -
